Gonna need more than 1 undefeated season in his career. Right now he's on par with Gene Chizik in that regard.

Thanks.

I'm going to try an analogy next, but I need liquid courage and the stores don't sell booze on Sunday around here.

Then he probably shouldn't have gone to a school where he'll always be number 2.

Actually, for a guy like Saban, maybe it makes perfect sense. The fact that it may be nearly impossible may only drive him more.

Yeah, he may have to settle for "Pound for pound, the best there ever was."

I guess for the piggies to match that standard, they would have to achieve basketball scores on offense and hold opponents to soccer scores from now until Sol goes nova.

McElroy/Saban. Stopped reading right there. Dude needs to get Nicks little pecker out of his mouth before he speaks.

I wonder if the normal Bama fans get sick of the cult and god worship of their coaches.

Gmac is funny.

Anyway, saban will never be anywhere close to one of the best. He is an above average coach and that is about it. Great defensive mind, nothing offensively and sorta a game manger on the sideline.

He was about a .500 coach for years at Michigan state and with the dolphins. And his first year at bama.

He is an excellent program builder at the college level but has also done that at two schools where anyone can win at. Especially at bama with the highest player and coach bankroll to work with anywhere.

Give him equal talent to his opponent, his old school conservative style wins at about a .600 clip. Above average, far from special.

The god worship of our coaches is the "norm" around these parts. Welcome to Tuscaloosa.

This is literally one of the most retarded things I've ever read.
