Aw, I like the way they tricked him.

Didn't ESPN used to do all these in a Home Depot Award show? I remember Andre's family at one last season.

Homeboy looks sharp, too.

The ESPN show is Thursday night. The Butkus is not one of the awards they present though. It has always had its own presentation.

Ah, I didn't know that, thanks!

I guess the one Cody was up for, that Suh won is the same way.

Suh won the Nagurski. You are correct. It has its own presentation.

You think if he wins the Lambert, the Butkus, the SEC CG and the NCG, he'll have any reason to come back next year?

Yes...he has a friend named Donte Hightower that he didn't have the chance to play beside all year. You do know that he has not submitted his paper work to the NFL to the projection committee that would evaluate where he would place in the draft.

I would love to see him play for us next year but that is my heart talking and my own greed. This kid is special and he needs to go to the NFL in my opinion and earn that paycheck. It would be a shame to see something happen that ended his career.

You have to want waht is best for him and that is the NFL in my opinion.

I agree I would love to see him back next year but how much higher could his stock go. It only took one play to end hightowers season I would hate to see that happen to him and cost him millions of dollars. i.e. Bradford. So roll tide I hope he helps brings home the national championship. If he does that I believe he has deserved the right to go ahead and bring home that fat NFL paycheck roll tide and ty McClain for 3 great years. If we do see you in crimson next year please stay healthy.

IMO, he can only go down if he stays. Either the same or down. He's as high as he will ever get right now and he needs to go and take advantage of it for his own good.

Will he credit Shula?

I'm sure Shula spent some time with him, but Nick signed him.

I also doubt that he would be winning awards with Shula's coaching. Sorta like Peterson with Les.

No disrespect to McClain nor Bama's LB, but McClain needs to thank his DL, especially Cody, for doing keeping the OL off the LB so they can do their job. 3-4 DL line play is critical so LBs can clean up.

Congrats McClain. With the way the NFL is going with 3-4 defenses, you are a top 10 pick this year. Well earned.

Well done! And congrats Ro.

And, he will be back at Bama next season. Our LBs will be unreal!
