That question makes just as much sense as the 'who wants to go to Georgia' question
Ehhh...not so much. UA and UGA have a lot in common, but the panache of the Tide is a lot stronger over a lot longer period of time.

I think you're looking too much into my post, my point was that it didn't matter if he was over-signing, it isn't against the rules. I don't keep tabs on actual numbers as far as seats available in any given year, so those numbers mean nothing to me. I was actually defending Saban
I was just posting other numbers to show that Alabama is not the only school to sign a lot of players.
But journalists and UGA fans are using Alabama as the poster boy for oversigning.

Even Coach Saban has said that nobody knows how many Alabama has on scholarship.
Apparently your rivals site does LINK.

It includes only scholarship players.
You take those 80 with the early enrolls already included and you add the other incoming Freshmen.

I got news for you, kids today don't care who won a national title in the 1940s. High school kids were just born when bama won a title up until their one in '09. High school juniors that year had seen bama win all of 1 SEC title in their lives. High school kids right now have seen Georgia win multiple SEC titles and BCS bowls in their lives.
Once again, I know we're down right now but there are PLENTY of reasons why kids would still want to go here. Just like there were plenty of reasons kids would want to go to bama in the early 2000s when they were struggling.

Do you know how many those 3 have on scholarship?
Bama 94
UGA 80
Vandy 90
And where did you get this information from? A recruiting site? Are you 100% sure that every single player you are counting in those figures are on scholarship?

I have no idea what Bama does to the poor players that end up there.
Typically they get SEC & NC championship rings, and diplomas. Check out Alabama's graduation rates for additional info.

I wouldn't call getting one as typical.

Dang, we SUCK! UGA is de BOMB!

No doubt. I don't disagree. I just wonder why the finger gets pointed at Alabama? Like I said, I don't keep track of the numbers so I wonder what it is that they (media) are trying to point at specifically that would seperate Alabama from just about everyone else.

Funny how true this is for an Aub.

Ridiculous hyperbole here is pretty much a sign you don't have a real retort to what I posted.

So thats why Notre Dame stopped getting all of those great recruiting classes....oh wait....no they didnt you are a dumbass, my mistake.

2 titles since 1982.. I guess technically, that's multiple.
2-1 in BCS bowls since 1984.. I guess technically, that's multiple also.
But it's not like that's tearing it up or anything to put Ga in the upper teir in their lifetimes.

I agree. But Richt is making the case against that. He's getting quite whiney in his losing years.

High school juniors in 2008/2009 were born in 1982? Hmm....

Well my main point was a pretty simple one, I don't see how anybody could possibly disagree.

All he said was oversigning is a problem. He didn't call out a specific program, he didn't blame our losses on other teams, he simply pointed to a modern issue today. Tuberville complained about Richt using the no huddle and got the rules changed. Kiffin accused florida of cheating. Saban complained to the office about bye weeks. Everybody has a beef about something.
In case you missed it, my point was (pay attention yall) that prior to 2009 kids still wanted to play for bama, JUST like kids today still want to play for Georgia. It really isn't that difficult to grasp.

This is the type of shite I am around constantly. Folks around here will sell their first born for a title. I am so ready to move back to Georgia! I have never regretted leaving home to attend UGA.
