To answer this question: LSU football started in 2000 for more than half the fans now. Once they started having a lot of success in the early 2000s a mass load of fans jumped on the wagon from the state of Louisiana. Louisiana people are arrogant in nature(I'll admit I have some symptoms). UGA people just aren't as big a assholes and don't have as many sidewalk bandwagon fans. Thus you get a bunch of retards calling for Miles head even tho he is about to have 100 wins in 10 years at the school. LSU people have unrealistic expectations majority of the time.

How do you really feel? You really don't think Georgia has many sidewalk fans? I do think there is some truth in your post however, so I'm not fully calling you out.

Yea I know UGA does have a good amount of sidewalks because it's THE state school but I was trying to make a point that LSU is much worse

after reading this entire thread:

-proud of UGA fans restraint.
-generally impressed with Auburn fans replies.
-feel sorry for combination of lowish IQs and butthurt of LSU fans. I have a couple of good friends from LSU so I know your not all morons.

Richt getting them so close in 2012 got him some leeway. Before then, the locals were pretty restless. Another year, maybe two, and it'll ramp back up.

Thanks to their easier draw from the West.

LSU fans want a coach with some kind of offensive mind. Miles has a brain dead offensive scheme. He never attracts, top notch quarterbacks. Why? We have changes offensive coordinators several times, only to get the same shite.

His defense sucks now, they look small compared to the opposition. They don't even look like the know the basics in tackling. Our offensive line was suppose to one of the best in the SEC. Our quarterbacks are running for their lives.

Win - Win
We'll trade Miles for Richt, Gurley, the 2nd string QB and 4th string MLB.

Both schools ecstatic.

Les and Mark both great guys. The Approach Les has where no one can figure out the "what was he thinking" puts off a lot of people. When you don't know why someone does what they do, it can breed a little mistrust. Then he explains what he did, and you find yourself looking for online translation apps, scrambling through dictionaries, and scratching your head... I am die hard 45 year fan and I literally have no idea why he does what comes through the play calls for LSU... then we look up at the score board and somehow we won the damn game... With Richt, I listen to him and I understand him. With Les, and I love the guy, I cringe every time I allow myself to listen to one of his pressers. And really, I love the guy. He has done so many things for people that no one knows about... But God how I wish for a coach that speaks English... Wait... Is that racist? OK, I take it back. I love Lesanese.

LSU's problem is that they had Saban as a coach. Saban restored greatness to LSU but then he left for the NFL. If Les Miles would have had the success he has had without Saban being there LSU would be ecstatic at his record. But when they look at Alabama and see what Saban has done they know that that could have been LSU.

Mark Richt has done as well as any coach at Georgia so they are mildly content.

If having Nick Saban and Les Miles as back-to-back coaches is a "problem" then I only hope to have many more problems like this as long as I live as an LSU fan.

There are those of us who appreciate what Nick Saban did to establish LSU as a national champion and perennial power in college football in this era. Many of us also realize that it's harder to maintain a winning program at the highest level of college football and appreciate what Les Miles has been able to accomplish in his time at LSU.
