In 02, Georgia lost to Zook, won the SEC, and finished 13-1.
In 03, y'all lost to Zook, won the SEC, and finished 13-1. The ONLY difference is that there were 2 major undefeated teams in 02.
And you really don't want to talk about 07.

Same thing with us in 06. If USC doesn't completely wet the bed against a 6-5 UCLA team, we wouldn't have gone to the BCSCG.

Nice try but the Rednecks in La outnumber the actual Cajun folk by better than 2-1. LSU fans in general have become spoiled and taught from birth it is their God-given right to be dissatisfied with the head coach regardless of rhyme and reason. Richt and Miles are both excellent college coaches; neither is perfect but then again neither is anyone else. I would take either to coach my team.

Miles does has a lot of UGLY wins as you say.
The SEC championship game against UGA (41-10) was one of the UGLIEST beatings ever in a SEC Title game.

If richt went to bama you'd see the same increase in double dipping checks and shoplifting. Don't get paid nearly as much under Richt. Gotta rob

Richt getting them so close in 2012 got him some leeway. Before then, the locals were pretty restless. Another year, maybe two, and it'll ramp back up.
