Please list all schools USC has remaining on it's schedule that are ranked in the top 25.

What did that team do this weekend?

I know it's difficult to maintain intensity and focus, and to avoid injuries, but outside of Sanchez, USC could even lose a few starters and not get tested.

I'm a believer in USC this season. Their largest obstacle to a NC will be their lack of preparation for whomever survives the SEC. With Georgia, Florida, and LSU doing a round robin with a rematch as the prize, it's probable that the Big 12 champ may go instead.

The survivor of the SEC well rested would give USC its best test.

Oregon St and Wazzu are way way worse than they've been in probably 10 years. OSU always seems to give SC problems, but the OSU team that beat it won 10 games that year. Wazzu is horrible. But yes Sanchez's health is cruicil.

What is boils down to is the Pac-10 is so bad this year that even the bad teams are worse than normal

I have a feeling that Sanchez may go down in one of those games and it is going to affect your season.

Then they will have their typical excuse as to why they lost 2 games. They will then proceed to beat the frick out of some horrendous big-10 team in the rose bowl. After that they will be hyped as the best team in history leading up to the 09'season.

Its the same old shite every year with SC. JDB got hurt....thats why they lost to Stanford. I don't care if your whole starting 22 has the fricking clap. You just don't lose to Stanford.

Wow, they beat Ohio St at home? Big fricking deal. It's not that hard to do.

I'm finished.

LSU gave up more points to tOSU in the 1st quarter than we gave up all game.

It's silly to think "BCSCG lock" for all the reasons already stated. Injuries, bad luck, apathy, any of that stuff at the wrong time could be an issue.

I believe this years version of USC is deep enough to overcome all that, but only time will tell.

If we're healthy, and playing to our potential, there isn't a team in the country that will beat us.

I think it is more a reflection on SC's remaining schedule and the overall PAC-10 weakness this year. Besides Oregon, none look like they have a snowball's chance in hell of beating SC this year.

Thanks to a 60 yard run by a pretty good player that you didn't face.

You are a wise and observant LSU Football fan.

This statement is 100% true, and remember, nobody prepares better for a big tangle than LSU.

When LSU takes AU this week ... in a big way that these morons CANNOT DENY ... Their minds will be simple to read ... they'll start promoting the USC vs LSU angle ... anyway, we both know it's a long season and we have to survive it with only one loss this year to make the Big Game.

i agree, the last few years, people praise USC bc they beat a good team at the time in OOC and they suck later in the season, and they still lose to 2 pac 10 teams every year like stanford and oregon last year. i agree, USC is overrated, im not buying them, i think theye lose to like oregon and ucla this year.

Some of you people are hilarious to me. They don't lose 2 PAC 10 games EVERY year. They lost 2 in 07 and 06, none in 05 or 04, and 1 in 03 and 02.

The only reason that they lost 2 the past two years is because John David Booty sucked donkey balls. That shouldn't have come to a surprise to anyone.

The only question about USC in my mind coming into this season was Sanchez, and he has been fantastic so far, so I see no reason they'll drop any seeing as how the PAC 10 is SO wesk this year.

It will be hard for USC to lose any this year because they play NO ONE the rest of the year. Very weak schedule.

Mark May even said that USC's loss to Stanford should not count b/c JDB broke his finger and did not play the entire game. However, he fails to mention the talent disparity, Stanford played their backup qb(who never played before), USC was at home , 41 pt underdog, etc... If he likes USC that is ok, but to say so blindly and biased that they wont lose a game this year based on 2 performances is crazy. He sure doesnt hide his love.

"as well as Wazzu. "

wazzu is abysmal this year, luckily syracuse keeps them from being the "worst team that used to have success"

Oklahoma State L 39-13
California L 66-3 0-2 (0-1) (the same cal team that maryland dominated, maryland who almost lose to delware and lost to mtsu)
Baylor L 45-17

I don't disagree with this.

If you went through the top 25, I would bet you could find ten teams who would go undefeated with that schedule. Seriously. When you only play two ranked teams a year, which is what USC is on pace to do, then yes, they will go unbeaten.

That's a given.

Yeah, and the guy that didn't play against you scored. Remember? Heismann candidate? Didn't play.

LSU also scored 31 straight on them before slowing down to run the game out.

LSU also has 2 crystal balls too. (just a reminder for those who follow revisionist history)

not according to Holtz, their out of conference is tops every year, playin the Virginias, ND'S, and Ohio States along with their conference schedule makes them tops, kinda got agree with him there, ND and Virginia are big name programs no matter how bad they are.

Well Lou picked AU ... May picked LSU ... I think I like May!
