Nobody is saying he sucked, but he just half assed his way through his freshman year and was non existent when it mattered.

No one said he sucked, but if he's not all in, he's dead weight to the program, and it's a good riddance.

Yeah used to be college players felt they had 4 years in college to stake their claim to playing in the NBA.

Now they feel they just need to have one good year, and their ticket is punched. So there's not as much concern if they spend a year in a program, and feel its not the best fit for them, for them to pick up and transfer to another program that fits better.

And college BB suffers as a result, and fundamentals are not being taught. Of course, I don't think NBA basketball is true basketball anyways....
