Was Spears calling for his firing last year? I know McFarland was all for it.

I seem to remember Spears being pretty calm last year. Booger was the one that wanted Les gone

Hell I kind of like the offensive identity. Pro-style with power running game. The problem is Brandon Harris is the worst power 5 quarterback around. Give Les somebody mediocre even sort of like Jake Coker and we aren't discussing this right now.

LSU is in a tough position. I know they'd want Herman, but no way Herman leaves in the middle of a season. Either fire Les now, or have a lame duck coach for the rest of the year.
LSU also has to really pray that Houston doesn't get invited into the big XII. Else they'll need to find a plan B coach, and how often do those work out?
