Coming back from an ingury like his first one and Spurrier makes him the work horse the following year with over 140+ carries before he got hurt again. Nah, Spurrier had nothing to do with it.

Not saying anything bad about Lattimore, great guy and I hope him the best.

He's a running back. They're supposed to be work horses.

Should I find you the article where Lattimore said he wanted to the ball because people like you were grumbling that we shouldn't give our best player the ball as much?

His injury had nothing to do with fatigue you shitstick. The result would have been the same if it was the first carry of his life

Even though he slaughtered us, he will always be one of my favorite RB's. I wish him nothing but the best.

You don't know what you're talking about. That hit was freakish. Lattimore was hit exactly the wrong way and it demolished his knee. It was due to nothing other than plain ole bad luck in a contact sport. If he gets hit any other way, he's fine. It was an awful injury.

He wasn't run into the ground or worn out.

How many RB's do you know that got hurt their Soph year, didn't play or took 1/2 the carries their Jr year and then went to the NFL? You seem to know a lot about football, so I'm really curious.

Not to mention his first injury. He didn't even have the ball. He was running out to block and he got rolled up on. This guy is acting like Lattimore tore his ACL and Spurrier made him go back out there and run the ball another 20 times.

I hope Latti can help us with recruiting. Everybody loved him. Who knows, he might be able to be a GA after his undergrad or a QC and help with coaching/development/recruiting.

Probably the most universally respected college player I can remember.

There are definitely some "good guys". Truth be told, I never understood why Tebow got so much hate. Maybe it's because UF had more rivals in the SEC, was a national title contender and a Heisman winner, so all the on-field success playing for a powerhouse made people belittle his off the field work but he is definitely another guy who knows there is more to life than just football.

I like Tebow but people got sick of the Jesus freak shite. That was the problem many had with Tebow.

$1.7 million insurance policy in play if he steps on field. He collects if he doesn't. Not sure on signing bonus but he has not collected his salary from contract the last two years.

He got the signing bonus. The insurance policy allows for a few games as well but if he doesn't think he can handle it all hes got to do is go to the doctor and they'll say hes unable to perform.

I didn't think he was getting his salary either but someone on ESPN said the 49ers had been paying it. They were probably wrong though
