His behavior has certainly been more Vol-like than Tebow's was.

Yes we do. Being a paving stone on the road for many to their NC's gives us that right......

Why? His height? Manziel is 2 inches taller than Russell Wilson and waaaaaay better.

Wilson has a strong arm and has proved he can make the NFL throws. Manziel won't be able to run around until the defense breaks down in the NFL. He will end up a better college qb than Russell Wilson, but he won't translate in the NFL.

The only people who would agree with Manziel being more likeable than Tebow are the same assholes who wear cargo shorts, ed hardy shirts, shell necklaces, and annually attend at least one Nickelback concert.

I have gotten no where NEAR as sick of hearing about Manziel as I did about Tebow... and I LIKE Tebow, and do not care for Manziel one way or another.

Tebow was way "bigger" as a national sensation, but Manziel is the better overall QB since he can throw better. Easier to argue that Tebow was a better college player to this point though because he played more years to this point. We'll see if JM can keep it up.

However, Manziel had one hell of a damn year. lol.

Not to mention, I was at the Rangers game last night when JFF threw out the first pitch and I'm pretty sure he was wearing skinny jeans.

I totally agree, but Manziel has only been around for less than a year, Tebow was at Florida for a long time.

I liked Manziel to begin with, but he has become a major douche of the highest degree. Tebow never really hit doucheness level in my opinion.

That's ironic, a Miami fan talking bad about a player with swagger, hmmm.

Where's Tebow's minus 1 for having rosary beads shoved up his arse.

This answer coming from an LSU fan that couldn't stand Tebow... nope, wrong answer. Manziel is definitely NOT more likeable.

Look at it this way- both guys are beloved and revered by their own teams' fans, and hated by other teams' fans.

But- one guy was a 240 lb man-child who came from a missionary family and exudes "goody two shoes" to the max; from all accounts threw himself into the "leadership by example" role as a true frosh; laughed and went along with the Broncos giving him a monk-cut. Strange bundle of extreme charisma and humility, who still strove for excellence (when they lost, he didn't pass it off as "God's will", he cried about letting his team down and vowed to do harder).

Other guy seems to be a party-animal from a rich family. A lot of his off-field antics appear "entitled" and "arrogant".

I'm an LSU fan, and I don't have a daughter, but if I did- Tebow I would be thrilled to have come pick her up. Manziel I might shoot in the driveway.

Tebow was "bigger" due to the whole Jeebus thing imo.

Don't fret though, the ESPN hype machine hasn't really got rolling yet.

JFF doesn't own a watch, he decides what time it is. And if JFF is late, time better slow the frick down.

Pretty sure social media is a hell of a lot more popular now than it was back then. No telling what past QB's/Heisman Winners were doing in the off season.
