I picked Bama to beat UF in the SECCG and go on to win their third straight BCS title against Lane Kifin's previously unbeaten USC.

I picked AU to finish 5-7, with losses to LSU, Ole Miss, TAMU, Arky, UT, UGa and Bama.

I paid far too much attention to the preseason predictions from the non-AU posters on tRant. Which was my most grievous error.

I thought Allen would be a much better Qback, after all, he was the chosen successor that Bobby Petrino went after...

I thought there was no way Any coach would do worse than Slappy the CLown JLS>

I thought Auburns Highschool offense would be exposed...

I thought Bama would beat the Barn by 21 points...

I thought LSU was beatable... Oops, go this one right. Lost to them barely in the final seconds...

I thought Spurrier would finally join Bobby Bowden on his boat and do a Viagra commercial...

I thought Boom would stroke out before the season was over...

Last, but not least... I thought Safety would prevail!!!!

Never saw Florida collapsing
Did not see Auburn coming out of nowhere
Mizzou was a surprise

Bama seemed to regress towards the end of the season

I didn't expect Missouri to win the East even into late November, I was confident they'd lose to Ole Miss or TAMU.

Before the year started:

-I thought the streak would continue. Since tSEC was the most dominant conference of the BCS era, it would seem fitting that tSEC would win the last BCSNCG.

-I thought UF was going to be a threat to win the east.

-I thought Bama would win their bowl game.

- I thought LSU would beat the pants off of Ole Miss.

I was casually optimistic for a bowl game going into late August/early September

Thought Tre Mason was an average running back

Figured Bama would win a third straight

Never saw Mizzou willing double-digit games

I thought Alabama would make that field goal at the end of the IB.

I expected Todd Grantham to be relatively prepared for Clemson.

Thought Auburn was mediocre at best after watching the Washington St. and Mississippi St. games.

Worst predictions: Thought LSU would handle Ole Miss and Vandy would upset Mizzou.

Didn't think Saban would ever be out coached by stoops.

Never woulda believed Carolina would have the longest home winning streak in the COUNTRY!

assumed he would piss away close games with poor decisions.

He almost did this in the Georgia game. No way he should have thrown that pass into coverage like that. He had a receiver wide open for a first down and he went for the home run.

I thought there was a really good chance Mizzou would struggle to reach bowl eligibility and Pinkel would "retire" (be forced to resign).

I thought Florida would be good.

(3) SEC Championship Game: My prediction was USCe v. Bama. Not my worst prediction, but still deserves recognition given the dramatic way in which each team shat away their opportunity.

I wouldn't say Bama "shat away" its opportunity. It lost one regular season game on the final play. Most people say that was a fluke/lucky. Regardless of your view on it, Bama arguably outplayed the number four team on the road in the biggest regular season game of the year and easily could have won. It wasn't like it was a UGA level choke job.

Thanks for breaking the streak. But seriously, the luck was bound to run out. Great job though.
