This will occur when AU fans remember LSU was up 35-14 midway through the 4th quarter.

#strongdew

Nobody is running around claiming LSU won on one play or that LSU didn't play good.

The rain argument is about the same as Bama claiming they lost because their kicker sucks.

Auburn's backup QB will be better than the current starter.
perhaps so, and maybe Coker will be better than AJ. Both statements are pure conjecture with no evidence.

Who said AU would definitely be a top 10 HUNH team by the end of November? For all we know, AU could already have two losses headed into BDS.

what is Saban's record against top 25 HUNH teams?
you do realize Hugh freeze and butch jones are HUNH guys right? As was bobby Petrino. Mullen is a spread offense, do you guys count him as a HUNH coach? His record against HUNH teams and spread teams in general isn't bad, once you realize you can't only count the good HUNH teams but not the bad and mediocre ones.

I expect Saban to beat the bad teams. He beat the bad Auburn HUNH teams. He hasn't beat the good ones though. He beat an average A&M team this year. It took scoring a lot of points, but he did it. Arkansas fans will disagree on Petrino running a HUNH though.

What's Gus' record against top 10 pro style teams? .500? Ouch! Gus can't beat pro style teams that are good more than half the time!

Fair enough. I can agree with that.

Saban has done damn good at shutting down OM, a HUNH team, on a consistent basis. I think better cornerback play for Bama will lead to greater success against the HUNH. Usually Bama has had one lockdown corner and one project. This year we had zero lockdown corners and two projects. Also think our two JUCO dline, one already having been in our system, are going to help tremendously with shutting down opposing offenses.

His only losses as a head coach are to Oregon, Nebraska, Western Kentucky, LSU, and FSU.

I bet his record is better than .500

Gus was 1-1 against good pro style teams last year. Batting .500. An argument could be made FSU is more of a pro style team than a HUNH, if that's true Gus was 1-2 against good pro style teams last year. I see a trend here....

That's what I did? You mean by implying that Auburn's offensive line pushed Bama's shite in all night I took credit away from Nick Marshall?
Your post said "If you think Nick Marshall won the game for Auburn this year, you are out of your mind.". Implying that only a crazy person would give our QB credit for the win even though he scored over half of our points. That is as close to trying to take credit away from Nick Marshall as you can get.

Next time you want to hastily generalize and claim the dominating ideology of a fanbase, go back and look at the excuses that were made for the '09 iron bowl. Genius.

Next time you want to jump in with a bunch of Bama fans making excuses, don't expect to not get "generalized" in with them. Also I don't have to look at excuses for any game because thats all they are. Excuses.

Didn't say he was a horrible Quarterback or anything. Probably should have clarified to say that he benefited from great run support and a monstrous o-line, kind of like AJ McCarron did in his first two years starting. McCarron is perrenially labeled as a future clipboard holder, so I was just saying the same argument could be made for Marshall, and that he DID NOT win that game for Auburn ALONE.

What kind of shite is this? Jumping in with Bama fans? I was speaking on my own behalf, and I really hope you are doing the same lest the entire Auburn fanbase be viewed as Marshall dickriders.

For someone that's not trying to put him down you sure seem to be "implying" you are butthurt over him and people pointing out what he did against Bama. But carry on.

Gotta love the offseason. Everyone is undefeated and headed towards a 'Ship...

I at least appreciate that *some* fans of other teams can see the flaws in their teams. Barners? Not so much.
