What is JaMarcus up to these days? I've been meaning to ask.

Minnesota is not a good place for him to go; the OTs who were terrible in pass pro even last season, the aging guards, and impending FA of Sidney Rice will all serve to give the Vikings pause before taking Mallett. There are far better fits on the board.

If Mallett flops it will be because of injuries. People act like he's been an INT machine, but he hasn't.

In 2 years at Arkansas he has thrown for 60 TDs to 18 picks in 25 games.

He completed 67% of his passes this season.

He did all this despite playing against some tough defenses in by far the hardest division in college football.

True. I mean, we only played 6 ranked teams. I'm sure there are at least 4-5 teams in the country that played a tougher schedule.

Go get somebody who's proven himself against the big dogs, like Andrew Luck or Jake Locker. Better yet, Boise's QB. He shredded the WAC.

This is true for 100% of the kids that play football.

Doesn't it go without saying that all kids put up good numbers against bad competition? Is it just Mallett that has put up stats against lesser teams? Is that now a bad thing?

By the way, when you look at the whole body of work, over 7,000 yards against the #2 and #6 SOS is pretty damn salty.

wasn't just talking about this year and look at how he played against 2 of them while getting injured( which wasn't his fault) in the 3rd one.

I agree. Point being for all of them it's important what they can do against top competition.
