your offense has averaged 14.6 points against the other three good defenses it faced.

Alabama 7 points
Florida 20 points
Ole Miss 17 points LINK

Scoring defense rankings
Florida 9.82 points per game
Bama 9.91 points per game

I beg to differ and have seen him beat in every game.

So you have watched every LSU game this year? Well you must be a huge LSU fan.

He's a great DB.

I disagree with your assertion that he has given up big plays in every game this year, but unlike you, I dont have any video evidence.

Until you show me such evidence, I will continue to disagree on this issue.

You should select LSU as your favorite team so other posters will know.

That video doesn't show Peterson "getting beat for big plays all year long" dumb arse. If you want to knock him for something say he doesn't read the play-action very well because that's what he did in that video.

He needs to find out who Danny McCray is covering before every play and focus on that receiver. That should always be his first read.

Throwing Peterson's way will only result in incompletions, interceptions or both.

I will say again, find who McCray is covering!

Thank you for adding some sense and intelligent statements in this thread. I agreee, he is a huge liability in coverage.

What do you want me post? All of Julio's 4 catches? FWIW, a play-action pass from the goal line at the beginning of the 4th quarter is not a "big play."

So you're saying that 6 points is on Peterson's shoulders? O.k. Peterson go beat on that play. How does that = him giving up big plays all year long?

Why does everyone ignore USCe's defense? They were pretty good against the pass coming into the Arkansas game.

Anyway, that doesn't change the fact that our receivers are a challenge. Maybe Mallett didn't get them the ball, or maybe they dropped the pass when it got there. But they continuously run 3, 4, or 5 WR sets having at least ONE guy running deep. Who else has an offense that would by more physically demanding for an opposing CB to put up with?

c'mon guys. lets just all admit it. We would trade PP for Arenas any day. Hes the best corner in the SEC AND can return kicks. We all know that since PP doesnt return kicks, he does not have the ability to do so successfully.

the NCAA did not ignore South Carolina's defense.
They are ranked 28th but Florida is 1st, Bama is 2nd, LSU is 8th and Ole Miss is 14th.

Florida gave up 9.82 ppg, Bama 9.91 ppg, LSU 14.73 & Ole Miss 16.55 ppg.

South Carolina gave up over 20 ppg. That's nearly another touchdown more per game than LSU is giving up so I didn't include them. LINK

I never said it wouldn't be demanding or that you can't throw the football. I just said you don't throw it well against good defenses. I gues I should have said top 10 or top 15 defenses.

The OP said Mallet will throw around four td passes. That is double what he did against the thre "top 15" defenses he has faced. That will not happen.
