Why dont you have a favorite team? You're always in LSU's game thread, but always are so negative. I dont believe I have ever read a positive post by you, ever.

WTF is your problem?

He has? I do think LSU fans overrate him, but I've watched every game and don't remember him giving up "big plays all year". He's been close to shutdown in most games other than short passes

PP hasn't been put to the test all year like he will be on Saturday. He'll likely win his share of the battles, but it'll be a long afternoon.

Are you kidding me?? Shutting down Julio Jones and AJ Green are not tests??

Yeah so Patrick Peterson is a terrible player that gives up big plays all of the time.

Is that right?

Patrick Peterson is an above average DB that most any team in country would be greatful to have and will more than likely be playing on Sundays. He is one LSU's best Athletes.

Julio had under 30 yards outside of the TD run(we know PP wasn't in on that play).

AJ had a good game, but I don't think the defensive staff put him on AJ the whole game. I don't know hoow you can look up their actual match up. I know he didn't score the TD on PP though.

I have seen Mock Drafts for 2011 that have him as the top CB and a top pick already. He is definitely the top CB in the SEC and I would imagine the nation, but I don't know all the CBs out there.

I never said he wasn't an above average DB....and BTW, it's grateful.

If you can read better than you spell, check the claims and my actual responses.

AJ was thrown to 7 times with PP covering. 2 receptions. 1 for a first down (this was obvious offensive PI).

JJ was thrown to 8 times with PP covering. 1 catch. 1 shouldve been pick.

That, sir, is how I define "shut down"

Spelling? seriously? What are you 12?

Just stop being so negative about EVERYTHING.

Somebody claimed that Mallet would have success against Peterson. It was rightfully refuted and you jump in with "he was beat on big plays all year", which is not correct. Why cant you just let it go? Do you have something personal against LSU?

Believe me, I know he's a badass. I'm just saying that he hasn't faced an offense that puts the ball in the air, or takes more shots deep, than Arkansas. Arkansas' receivers might not have been 5 stars, but 2 of the better ones (Adams and Wright) were both 4 stars. Their production has surpassed most of those "5 star" guys people like to pound their chests about. Once again, I'm not saying Arkansas is going to shred PP. I'm just saying that he's likely going to have to face one of the most physical WR's in the SEC (Childs), shiftiest (Adams), or fastest (Wright) on every play. Doing that for a couple of hours, knowing that Mallett is liable to throw it to any one of them at any time, is probably going to be a little more taxing than any other game he's played this year. That's not an insult.

I beg to differ and have seen him beat in every game. Another poster said the OM pass was the ONLY one he gave up and I posted an example to prove he was wrong. Like I said, I have more.

He makes big plays and gives up big plays.
