Hahahahaha!
You aren't going to have a "next man" at this rate. How many linemen have transfered now? And how many do you have on scholarship?

LSU is tanking hard and the season hasn't even begun yet.

We have 11 on scholarship, we can only build an entire 2 deep, plus still have an extra left over. All are healthy as well, no injuries at the moment.

You will need more than that to stay competitive in this league.

The starting OL consists of a 5th year senior, 2 4th year juniors, 1 junior and 1 sophomore with the 6th man being a 3rd year sophomore. The 2 interior guard replacements this year were 4-stars out of high school with 1 being a Top 100 overall player.

This coming off having the #1 rated OL in the nation last season by PFF.

Watch and see, man. Depth will become an issue. Or better yet, disregard what I'm saying. The meltdown come October will be all the more entertaining.

We played 9 offensive linemen last year...on the nations #1 OL by PFF

Sure if we see catastrophic series of injures to 3 or 4 starters, we MIGHT be in trouble. Good luck with that

Will be a good line. Excited to see Bruiser and Donavaughn in action. I have big expectations for them. I wouldn't be surprised to see Deculus get in there at some point though.

Deculus will be one to watch. Right now Magee is the 6th man, but Deculus could really come into play. He lost some weight since the spring and is now prime to be groomed for that LT position.

I do worry about whether or not Malone's heart is there. If he doesn't give tremendous effort I could see Weathersby moving to LT. Not trying to discredit the guy because he did come back but I know that football isn't in his future.

I remember Magee being talked about highly when he was recruited. Big guy but more of a guard, right? I don't think we're really hurting for guards with Cushenberry and Magee on the bench. I worry about tackle the most.

Magee is the 6th man because like Teheuma last year they feel he can play guard and tackle and he's been cross trained there. Doesnt hurt to have a 3rd year guy like that since there's always a lineman or 2 banged up throughout the season.
