Next man up. Deculus is gonna have a starting spot by conference play anyway. We just have to move some guys around.

Got a feeling this kid did more than fail a class. He's draft eligible so the only way a transfer makes sense is to a lower program where he can play this year. Maybe Southeastern where he can play with his brother?

It can't be that hard to stay eligible. Oh well, deuces

First Key, now this kid.
Not looking good for LSU this year. I was thinking 4 losses for LSU, might be 5 if things continue this way.

Pumpers will say next man up, but no doubt this is a big blow to our offensive line. He had a lot of experience going into this year.

What's wrong with Arden? He's out there practicing with the team

No fricking way. We'll bring it. Stay salty my friend.

Damn do they have any OL left? Poor Guice may find it rough sledding this year.

Why isn't this getting more coverage on this board? Huge blow to LSU's OL, IMO.

October 14th can't get here any sooner

Ah... I guess it's because nobody knows who this guy is specifically. Would have gotten more discussion if title included that Madea was an LSU OL.

Not that huge, we are stocked with interior OL. Maea was very good, but we have plenty of talent there to step up. Guard isn't hard to replace.
What would have been hard to replace is Malone or Weathersby out at the tackle spots.

But that unit doesn't appear in any of the top unit lists and that was BEFORE his loss

Is he transferring to Bayern Munich?

We only lost 2 players off that line (well, now 3)...granted we played 6 guys last year, 3 of which ar eback in Malone, Weathersby and Clapp.
OL will not be any issue whatsoever, and should be very good, assuming injuries dont start to mount at OT.

I think this was the first thread on the topic.

Based on what? Your friends on the TigerRant seem to disagree.

People panic over everything, we return 3 guys from the nations #1 OL (PFF link above) from last year, including the ebs tone in Clapp. Again, as long as OT stays healthy, there ar eno issues.
The replacements for the guards inside are Brumfield and Campbell, both will be beasts. Brumfield is a 4th year junior and Campbell a sophomore. We return both OTs who started out last year in Malone and Weathersby.
Teheuma wasn't even a starter until Weathersby got hurt last year.
The Ol last year went:
Malone-Clapp-Pocic-Boutte-Weathersby
Malone, Clapp & Weathersby are all back. Teheuma was the #6 utility guy. Boutte was suspended game 2 so he started at RG for him that game, then Weathersby got hurt after game 3 and Teheuma picked up at RT for him rest of year, where he's not nearly as good as he was at guard. The key is year is hoping both tackles stay healthy. The line really good:
Malone-Brumfield-Clapp-Campbell-Weathersby
Sixth man: Magee
That's a senior, 3 juniors and sophomore. With Magee being a 3rd year sophomore.
