del rio obviously doesn't have franks' arm, but i'd hardly call him noodle armed.

I've always liked how people call a QB noodle arm as an insult when every NFL scout says that arm talent is the most overrated aspect of a QB.

I said from the start the Zaire wouldn't see the field as a starter and now that Toney is playing well, he won't see the field at all unless things go to crap.

Del Rio earned the start on Saturday, I wish him the best. Go Gators.

You've obviously never seen him in person then. Athletically he is the worst qb in the SEC. Mentally he may be in the top half of the SEC. Maybe

It's one of the problems here at Florida -- they just shite on the quarterback. Driskel had to transfer schools, Del Rio was arguing with fans on Twitter.

Seriously, we were dead to rights, he comes in and offensive production doubles (in one quarter) and the first thing I come to see from a Gator fan is how shitty he is.

Then they talk about how McElwain can't recruit quarterbacks. Florida is one of the only scools that talks about firing a coach who's 15 - 3 and has back to back 10 win seasons after winning a road game. On top of that, we get bailed out by a guy who has to defend himself from insults on Twitter from his own fan-base.

I love my Gators, but holy frick our fans are acrid.

He manages the game well, performed well, and we won the game because of it. I don't understand why we can't say ''good job'' and move along.
I don't doubt your statistics, but be honest with yourself: it was Kentucky. You just KNEW they would self-destruct in the 4th quarter, no matter whom was Florida's QB.

I bet Franks' stats would have been dramatically improved had he stayed in the game as well.

But, good job. Moving along.

If you didn't watch the game (I know you didn't), Del Rio did several things that Franks still doesn't seem able to do:

He reads defenses, he adjusted protection. They were clear and obvious adjustments, and they worked. This is the second week in a row where we won in the fourth quarter -- something changed.

4th quarter Offensive Touchdowns: 4

Touchdowns in all quarters: 2.

Franks floundered, period, and Del Rio bailed him out.

When Franks is in, the center (McCoy) has to call out the protection...plus Franks is at a one read pass level. He just doesn't scan the field like he should.

Del Rio will check his 2nd and 3rd pass options and will change a play at the line if he needs to.

But he was on a better trajectory than Mac.

Was he?

He had one 11 win season where he looked like he was headed for great success but followed that up with successive 4 and 7 win seasons where the staff looked disorganized and the offense looked completely inept.

Mac's certainly had the advantage of a bad east, but he hasn't squandered it. Based on performances thus far, they should be competitive if not favored in every game left on the schedule except Georgia.

Florida fans can understandably be upset about where they are as opposed to where they want to be, but McElwain has been significantly better than Boon.

Y'all are amateurs.

We have the reigning SEC offensive player of the year under center and a significant portion of our fan base would really like to see him out of the program.

u guys seem to have a very spoiled fan base. i wish a&m had ufs level of success over the last 30 or so years. it's pretty ridiculous.

next year will be macs year he has to show something more. he's bought himself a fourth year by grinding out decent seasons the last two years with some serious roster holes he inherited.

UF isn't winning a championship with Del Rio, but I think he can play well enough to get UF to a decent record on the season.

I said 9 wins in my early season prediction, I'm still saying 7 now (and it would have been 8 had they played northern colorado).

Think UGA beats them and two of FSU/TAMU/LSU.

The lack of depth from suspensions will catch up to them as the season goes along.

He actually had a decent arm before getting injured last year. He seems to be healthy again. Needs to stay healthy.

Holy shite our football program has been reduced to this by Muschamp

Program has been on a steady decline since Muschamp, but hey its his fault right?

It's time to realize that your program has not recovered from the moral and ethical decay that was sewn by Meyer. He brought y'all to the promised land but at what cost? Hell I don't think they have still found all the bodies hernandez had hidden in the swamp down there. Meyer split when he felt the heat of it falling back on him, Muschamp wasn't given enough time to clean it up properly, Mcilwhine is spineless and hell they even tried to bring HBC back down to straighten it out. It hasn't worked as you are still dealing with felons and your football program has no soul.
It's the price you pay when you deal with the devil. I hope y'all continue to fall into the abyss and never recover... like SMU type never recover

Yeah, I mean shite, you guys just lost by ten points to Kentucky at home.

We struggled, it's true -- but at the very least it was on the road down ten players with an unproven quarterback.

Muschamp lost to an FCS team when he had injuries at Florida, with top ten recruiting classes.

We'll have to remember this moment when ya'll inevitably fire him.

Remember this moment and your bullshite excuses when you fire mcilwain, all while being statistically below SC in every offensive category.

*eta
uf has had just as many qbs in and out of the lineup as the Cleveland browns over the same stretch of time. let that sink in for a moment.

UF has played a tougher schedule, and less games and zero cupcakes.

Compare USCe to Florida's offensive performance vs UK. We are better offensively than you.

Now sit down. Because you are a whipping boy. Only Bama can run their mouth to Florida. You little eight get no quarter. Now go get me some tea, bitch.

uf has nothing.... nothing to instill fear into any opponent. You were handed the game against Kentucky. They dominated uf all game and with a little referee help and a stroke of luck y'all pulled one out your arse for the 2nd straight week.

uf is just a fricking work release program for juvenile detention centers and by the time mcilwains is done fricking your athletic dept in the arse, yall will pay him millions to leave and start all over. no self respecting coach wants to come clean that detention center in the swamp up, no one!
Much like Tennessee... the best days of your program are behind you.

We did better than you vs UK, at UK

You then barely beat LA Tech.

Please expand little cock on how you are better?

You have a coach we literally kicked to the curb, because he was the worst UF coach in over 40 years.

Let that sink in. Your coach, was just not good enough to coach here. So he went to a lesser school.

UF may not be great, but we are better than a Muschamp coached team. Any day. Any time. Mac is 2-0 vs your school. Just like Spurrier and Meyer. He owns you.

Want to compare stats vs UK? Believe UF put up four touchdowns. You put that up vs La TECH AND Kentucky.

So...get to the back of the bus Rosa Parks. You are a lesser.
