I know there isn't much to do in Tuscaloosa while outside of the three months a year you get to live vicariously through 18-20 year-olds....but damn.

Classic statistical grah skewing. The numbers do not have a significant difference, and the graph contains a lot of white space between the individual numbers. Therefore, you are really stupid!

I pretty much pointed that out in my analysis at the end.
I clearly stated that I didn't believe there was any way to know based on the numbers or graphs.

The decline started in the off-season after 21-0. A sportswriter wrote an article suggesting that LSU would going into decline in the coming years. Tiger Rant went nuts over the article and then the SECR piled on. The author has been 100% correct. Obviously there is a bottom at some point but nothing can happen at this point that would invalidate the writer's prediction.
So yes there is and has been a decline as described by the original prognosticator.
