LSU's OL should get more credit for Saturday's decisive victory over Auburn

In the past, I've always thought that LSU should be better on the offensive line than they typically end up during conference play. It has been a mystery how a program that consistently produces top running backs has been subpar at offensive linemen development.
It looks like LSU is going in the right direction as far as offensive line player development. I wish we would have had that kind of play from our oline Saturday.
I found this tweet to illustrate that:

Leonard Fournette was not contacted until at least 5 yards past LOS on 8 of his 19 carries vs Auburn & was not contacted in the backfield.

Yeah, I'm watching the replay now on SEC network. Our O-line just crushed them.

i would say you could have driven a mack truck through those holes, but fournette already did.

Grime Scene Unit/Da Bomb Squad is the best in the nation.

Didn't Louisville average almost 5 yards per carry vs Auburn? LSU run game was awesome but Auburn not exactly a defensive juggernaut.

Five yards per carry versus five yards before contact are two totally different things.
One of them is a combination of running back and oline beasting while the second is the oline playing at another level.

The O-Line didn't really click until about half way through last season. I've been very impressed with our new O-Line coach in his second year (Grimes).

Grimes has served us very well this year. His oline is mauling people and buga gave them a huge shout out after his game.

Auburn said Grimes was trash.

auburn also said they had the best DC in the conference

Getting rid of Stud was a blessing.

funny thing is we got auburns' old O-line coach jeff grimes

Well grimes is a great oline coach IMO. I always thought he was but I've never played at any level past high school so what do I know

FB John David Moore is a beast as well. He destroys fools.

And I'm sure LF sucks too right?
GTFO, there isn't a person that plays for A&M now or recently that could do what LF did. Y'all don't have a player who could do what he did vs a HS team.

I saw last night that Fournette had something like 165 yards before contact saturday... 165 yards would have been his career high if that was the only yards he had
