Another dumb frick. People don't understand context for shite on this board. It's about as emblematic as that poster discussing Jimmy Clausen, proving how worthless his post is.

I wasn't trying to prove anything other than the fact that a poster wants to find a 2007 Jimmy Clausen example as telling is about as fricking stupid as using Matt Barkley in 09 as an example.
Seems this went over your head. Not surprised.
Not really. He is only trying to exemplify the uncertainty with high school prospects, which is not dumb at all. It is clear that you are trying to exemplify some kind of certainty with your posts, which is dumb. If that is not what you are doing, then please do tell...

And I was just pointing to the success stories that held that same rivals ranking, thus pointing out the absurdity of using Jimmy Clausen as an example as if it proves anything. It proves about as much as me saying "Matthew Stafford" and then walking away.

The context was that the previous poster used Jimmy Clausen as an example to say that not every hot shot QB will be awesome. He's right. The poster then countered that statement with a few QBs who were good, which shows nothing

His statement holds much more water than yours though seeing as he has never played in an SEC game.

This doesn't even make sense. I wasn't saying he's going to be Matt Barkley. I was just pointing out that using the Clausen example is about as representative as using the Stafford example. It proves nothing.

Some of your fellow LSU fans are, which is why he posted that in the first place.

The best high school football player I ever saw in person was Mitch Mustain.

Stafford didn't throw up Joe Montana numbers his entire career at UGA. As a FR he threw more INTs than TDs. His JR year was by far his best. As a SO he finished 56th in the country in passer rating, 6th in the SEC in yds/game, & 7th in completion percentage (Casey Dick was ahead of him).
And you shouldn't use someone who had John David Booty starting over him until JDB graduated as an example of a great 5 star recruit.

You really got to see Mitch Mustain play in person? That's amazing.

Yeah because older guys never start ahead of more talented, yet inexperienced, younger players. If you don't start from day one, you're a bad example?
Kiel isn't starting from day one. Only Alabama fans post such foolishness.

You "signed" him. I didn't pick him as an example.
He didn't start until his RSJR year. If that's your example of a high impact, 5 star recruit, than you obviously don't know the ranking systems.

Yep! And you dumb mother frickers sound just like all the arkansas fans that said he was the best qb in the sec from day one.
