Anyone else see how bad Garrett's form is compared to Neal?

And yet Myles is still stronger.

And yet he's had his arse dominated both times he's played LSU.

I am honestly surprised no other schools jumped in with how many pounds their guys lifted. Not even one...

If this is, in fact, true, then he really needs to figure out how to convert weight room strength to on the field strength. His pass rush skills are very good, but he seems to get moved in the running game pretty easily.
Scouting Myles Garrett

Game tape watched: Arkansas (Sept. 26, 2015), Ole Miss (Oct. 24, 2015), LSU (Nov. 28, 2015)
quote:
I was pleasantly surprised with how well he plays against the run. He keeps his pads low to the ground and easily holds the point of attack. He shoots his hands and uses his length to stack blockers consistently. He is outstanding when he's allowed to shoot gaps and attack. He is also productive on the back side because of his motor and speed to close. He is also very adept at playing against cut blocks. He is very rarely on the ground.

A couple of points:
The Garrett video is a Power Clean, not a full clean (like the Neal video). Power clean maxes are usually more than full clean maxes.
That was not "3" reps as he dropped the bar and reset his starting position. That would only count as 1 rep. So he did 3 sets of 1 rep.
God that form...
The Neal video is also mislabeled as a "Power Clean". This is incorrect as a Power Clean does not have you catch in a full squat. Neal obviously caught the bar in a full front squat position, thus making it a Full Clean.

Oh I know. I meant that the paper labeled it wrong.
