Rod Grizzard and Eric Washington were both better than Gee at Alabama. Erwin Dudley was a double double machine as well
Kennedy Winston was certainly better than Gee
PG- Mo Williams
SG- Latrell Sprewell
SF- Robert Horry
PF- Antonio Mcdyess
C- Roy Rogers
Bench
Winston
Mckey
Wallace
Grizzard
Dudley
Honorable mention
Steele
Releford

Chuck Davis

You need to learn about Buck Johnson. He might not start, but he deserves a spot on the bench.

Cousins and Davis are the only real comparable players for Cal.

LSU fans killing it today.

No. John Wall will be an all-star for next decade plus, his numbers this season are incredible. Bledsoe was a borderline all-star last year and is the best PG defender in the league.
Then you throw in the role players that are just as good or better than the shitty role players out of LSU.
The team I posted a few pages ago would be the favorites for an NBA title.

Buck Johnson and Reggie King. Bobby Lee Hurt, Terry Conor. The good ole days.

There are very few schools that could field a better all time team than us. Perhaps Duke, UNC, or Kentucky.

There's no denying that LSU has had a lot of great players, but so what?
They still have ZERO titles.

They have a fake one from the 30s.

What the hell are you talking about? I posted a list just a few pages ago.
A guy who has like 20+ playoff triple doubles would be a back up for UK. This wouldn't even be an argument if these guys stayed in college more than a year.

Not to mention all this thread is doing to reminding us that...
LSU and Alabama used to have good basektball teams.

Must be having a bad sports year to randomly put this shite up.

Don't forget Ennis Whatley... "Ennimo" was the best true point guard to play for Bama in my lifetime. Whatley was an All-American in 1983, and led the Bama team (Buck Johnson, Bobby Lee Hurt, Mike Davis, et al) that beat USC and Georgetown in Los Angeles (Winston Tire Classic), and UCLA in Pauley Pavilion.

LSU's starting 5 could compete with any starting 5 any other school could produce. It has 3 NBA HOFers. Arguably the most physically unstoppable big man in history in shaq and one of the best passer/scorer combo's in basketball history in pistol pete. They also have the record holder in scoring by year for freshman, sophmore, junior, and senior in NCAA with Jackson and pistol.
Just pick anyone else to throw in as number 5. It would be insanely hard to outscore this team.
