Remember this is the BCS standings not the polls. The computers could jump us over a 1 loss team.
Even if you're right, it's not near the slam dunk you think it is that A&M would go over LSU. A pretty good case could be made that LSU would still go but just to be fair you'd have to say 50-50 at worst for either side. Yet you're talking like it's a done deal

K-State one loss is above you (assuming that one loss is Texas), Oregon one loss is most certainly above you, and that leaves ND the media darlings who might be still above you. Chances look slim to me considering other teams than just the undefeated need to slip up.

His argument is that LSU will be ranked higher in the BCS, possibly even get an auto bid, LSU has a bigger national draw and travels just as well (for the sake of argument) as the Aggies.
Not to mention LSU beat A&M in CS. You guys have performed well in your first year in the SEC, but you will be hard pressed to jump a SEC and national powerhouse like LSU.
It isn't impossible though, good luck to you.

He called me simplistic yet failed to say why, all while claiming LSU has the inside track to a auto bid (which you don't)

Well honestly if FSU beats UF, Bama beats UGA, and ND loses to USC an argument can be made that we would have the inside track to 4.....A case could be made against that line of thought as well.
