You're probably right, I mean, Alabama is pretty terrible. I really don't get why anyone thinks Saban will win a national title while at Bama. Taking the Bama job is just a stepping stone for him to go to Texas or to a big time NFL team.

To be fair, Bama has been "overrated" for several years now, 4 national championships included.

You really believe this is real. Oh, to be a salesman in the state of Alabama.

Bama had the ball wth a minute or so left down 7 with a chance to drive and tie it up. Yes they fumbled and Oklahoma scooped and sacred, but your and my definition of blowout are completely different.

LSU O-line is yet to be fully exposed Auburn did to some extent, but LSU is awful in pass protection. They are Arkansas bad as far as pass pro. Without play action they are inept in the passing game. When they can't run and are forced into obvious passing plays they are just awful.

They are able to be run on as well. Bama will have success. They just need to punch it in and not settle for FGs.

You know this because you have seen how the new OC calls plays when LSU is forced to pass right?

And LSU's pass pro is bad, but not Arkansas bad. I legit feel bad for Allen sometimes.

LSU played Ole Miss at home after they played FSU, Bama, Georgia, and grueling game against Arky the previous weak. They clearly have lost some players after playing a grueling schedule.

LSU has played two legit teams all year, had a bye week to get healthy thanks to Florida. You caught them at a great time. While Bama caught them early with a true Freshman QB making his 1st Rd start.

You should beat any dinged up, tired team when you rush for 300+ yards at home.

Football is about match ups. Ole Miss has the tools to give Bama a good game. They have a mobile QB with a Big arm and WRs that can stretch the field and win some 1 on 1 matchups.

LSU doesn't matchup well at all. An O-line that excels in run blocking, but bad at pass pro. A QB with a water pistol arm. An interior D line that can be pushed around. Only one real pass rusher.

Alabama is able to play in their base defense vs LSU. To score against Bama you need to get them in nickel and dime packages were you can find a match up in the secondary and exploit it. You need to hold up against the pass rush or have that mobile QB to extend plays. LSU just doesn't have the tools.

Here is the thing: both Alabama and LSU will have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game. I don't think either team will be getting blown out or have a "comfortable" win because of that.

We could beat Alabama, but it sure as hell won't be comfortably though. Not even close.

Bama is a fricking machine. I do think LSU has a legit chance at home but your statement is ridiculous

You don't need a cannon arm to face Bama. You need a game manager.....Etling is exactly that.

You make valid points then make a snide remark that is off base. You discredited yourself.

Wasn't a blowout.

The score was 38-31 and Alabama had the ball before McCarron fumbled. OU snatched it up and returned it for a TD.

A blowout is where the game was never competitive.
