My worst experience ever after a game was when LSU lost to Arkansas in Little Rock in I think 2002 on one of the last plays of the game. Arky won the west from LSU on that last game. I was yelled and cussed at and had beer thrown at me all the way to my car. I've never been the victim of a lynching party but that was pretty darn close. Leading up to the game the Arky fans were pretty quiet.
All I can say about Bama fans is their fan base is a wreck for going so long without winning a championship. They have the older Fans who compare everything to Bear Bryant teams. Then you have a huge growing number of fans who only have the last 15 years to go by. Now Bama has the most arrogant and condescending coach in college football who's kicked all their asses including the media. That's what it took to get the bridle back on their program. The good old boys in Bama had to give up control to Nick and submit to Nick running everything. That was hard to swallow but they knew they had to do it. I expect they will run Saban off or Saban will run off the old order that's been running things since Bear Bryant died. Either way the power struggle will be interesting to watch.
And congrats to Tebow and Florida on a great run. You did the SEC proud. It's been great fun for LSU to be a key part in bringing the SEC up to being the best college football conference in the nation.

Honestly, IMHO, i think bama, UF, and LSU can have the worst and the best fans. Just all depends on who you run across. IF its the frat douchebag with the man pom(bama, btw there bad), if its the jort/cargo short wearing jellhead(UF), or if its the drunk a-hole cajun prob wearing something stupid like a cheerleader outfit(lsu).

I had a similar experience in Knoxville about 10 years ago and in Auburn about 4 years ago. Both games Bama was manhandled. 2 bad experiences out of a hundred or so. It's just wrong time, wrong place deal because every fan base as that kind of fan. I was shocked the first time it happened. Never under estimate the stupidity of mankind.

Bama fans are reminding me of the nerdy kid who always got picked on in high school and now they're going off on a rampage shooting up all the popular kids who picked on them in school

I've never had a problem with any other fans at a game. It know it happens but I'm not sure where. I'm assuming most of this crap comes from alcohol mixed with 18-24 year old males laced with testosterone.
I've only seen one gator fan go too far with another fan and several of us reminded him to mind his manners and move on.
We all basically have the same fans. (I know HBT, all ours are from NJ and are guidios, oh and wear jorts).

I attend the LSU at UF game every other year it is played in Gainesville and I always have the same seats. I have known these people around these seats for 20 years and when I show up in Tiger gear, I am treated like shite by many around me. I have had 50 year old women get right in my face and curse at me. I intentionally keep it low key and try to enjoy myself but UF fans always find a way to act like complete assholes. They are the most arrogant and rude fans in the SEC IMHO. If Bama treated you bad then too bad. Man up and take it.

I agree like every fan base you have good and bad, I've had barners scream at me one even grabbed my hat and threw it on the ground. I've had Ole Miss Fans bump my rear bumper after we loss Screaming at us etc.
When you go to a game with drinking and emotions being mixed together you gotta grin and bear it. I talked to Utah fans online after they beat us and the majority were surprised how nice Bama Fans were in the Superdome. A few incidents on Bourbon street about it.
Again, Football is very serious with the fans. That's why we all love it...

My pov is unfair because most of the college games I havebeen to were at LSU so obviously I see a lot of bad there. The only game I have been to at BD is UT Chat and obviously no one was talking smack there or misbehaving. What hurts LSU fans reps is that a lot of their misbehaving has made the news like the UT buses and the Ga portapotty guy.

I believe you I just don't see it. I have never sat near people making assess of themselves are taking it to far with other fans.
Someone near you should have the balls to tell the perps to keep it mildly civil. There is NEVER any cause of someone to get in your face unprovoked.
When I travel to games I act like a guest and expect to be ribbed but not assaulted. I've never had an issue. I do grow a goatee for every road game cause my friends say it make me look mean.
