The Thursday game also gives an unfair advantage to one of these teams going to the SEC Championship game over the East by getting 2 extra days of rest, practice.

Well, never mind that's probably a weak argument for the foreseeable future, since neither aTm , nor LSU will be going anywhere in early December

Wow.
This is terrible news.
If we aren't paying LSU on TDay, I say we schedule the horns.

Thanksgiving with LSU was forced--they didn't want it, and it wasn't the same on our end.
All's well that ends well.

The NFL decided it wanted all of Thanksgiving. And, they took it.

Good. Always hated the Thanksgiving game.

I appreciated the tradition of it when it was part of the A&M/UT rivalry, but it always made spending time with family very difficult. No reason to keep it going with LSU.

LSU

We miss you guys on Friday. See what you did Aggie! I guess we'll just have to dance with Mizzou now.

It was pretty easy for A&M to change their mind I bet when they saw the difference in ratings and attendance

I litterally do not know a single season ticket holder that wanted that game to stay on Thanksgiving. It made perfect since with Texas 90 miles away but makes no sense with an opponent 350 miles away.

I like this decision. The Texas A&M/Texas games were something special. Now it's the 3rd place in the West Championship game. It doesn't deserve prime time.

Dude A&M hasn't played for anything relevant that late in the season against anyone since the world was deemed round. FSU/ UF several times OSU/MIch some times has been massive. Texas/ A&M was a local novelty it meant nothing nationally. Nothing.

Don't like. Love playing on Thanksgiving. But I realize I'm in the minority.

Good. I may actually go for once. It's been 16 years since I was able to go to a rivalries weekend game.

We ought to have the game on Sunday Night or some shite.

That was a stupid tradition anyway.

We did play some games against Texas on Thanksgiving, but it was most certainly not even a tradition.

It was stupid to play LSU on Thanksgiving and 99% of Aggies are happy it is going to Saturday where it should be.

No one wanted to play on Thanksgiving, just had to do it long enough to show the swamp rats who has the big dick in town: daddy A&M
