I think the NCAA should leave it alone and let teams run their offenses at whatever pace they like. It can be stopped, it's not impossible. Trying to change the rules is just a bitch move.

So, my point is, if your Coach and strength and conditioning staff prepare the team to be focused and physically ready before and throughout the season, the players should be ready for the HUNH. I wish LSU would practice that way every offseason.

Totally agree. Especially about LSU practicing that way every year.

It's nothing against the rules or cheap...if offensives can stay on the field and run high pace then why can't the defense?

If you don't like it find a way to stop it, pretty easy strategy actually, long sustained drives on offense, to keep the other offense off the field, get a couple stops against the high pace offense and you will wear their defense out and play ball control

I believe it is part of the evolution of the game and the rules should not be changed. I like how if the O subs, the D has the option to match.
Don't understand how that is not fair enough.

The only rule change that needs to be put in place this year is the reversed targeting calls to remove the 15 yards.

Was Bobby Petrino's offense HUNH?
I ask this because he owned South Carolina's arse between 2009 and 2011 with his offense. Clemson is a joke. They've lost to you 5 years straight. They only play two respectable programs every season and don't have an answer for South Carolina.

Never understood that. "We reviewed the call and no intention of targeting was seen, but uh 15 yard penalty just cuz". I love to see bama burn, but even I thought it was crap when Clinton-Dix was called for targeting in the TAMU game.

If Clemson is a joke then UGA, Auburn, and LSU don't appear to be in on it.

I think the substitution rule is the dumbest part. But I do remember Richt pushing for the officials to let them snap it as soon as we got set.

This x1000000! We came out looking like we would stomp anybody that season. The whole team just looked like it was on another level.

While id love to watch auburn, ole miss, and Aggies flip their collective shite losing the hunh I personally think this attempt to get rid of it by rules is crap. The injury excuse is just that, an excuse, and instead of Saban and company allowing football to evolve/countering this phenomena they want it removed.

It's like a team trying to ban the forward pass way back in the day. So while it does nothing for Georgia I personally hope the HUNH survives and the cheesedicks trying to ban it end up with egg on their face.
