You are certainly not the authority on this.

if yes, then where was it in 2010 when we played 6 teams coming off their byes.

Again, showing your ignorance, the 2010 schedule was apart of the original scheduling and rotation. This two year break until a new permanent schedule (which aligns with the new playoff) is a clear advantage to Alabama and doesn't even follow a pattern year to year. So the deck is stacked in Alabama's favor in a short time where it can be viewed as permissible until everything gets "sorted out".

quote:

If no, then do you think Mike Slive is unaware of Womacks ties, and Womack just snuck it by him.

Better question: Do you think Slive is more likely to take the approach of this situation is uncontrollable some teams will get an advantage at the moment or acknowledge the situation, thus opening himself for more scrutiny if he changes it and someone else complains about the changes? He can't win in the situation, so he leaves the schedule making in charge and moves onto other things on his agenda.

I have watched this unfold since 1992.
There is nothing NEW about the overwhelming Bama-centric reality of the SEC.
Do you remember the phrase "appearance of impropriety" ?
How about the phrase "doesn't pass the smell test"?
The SEC has treated LSU in a latently-insulting way since 1992.
They lose ALL ties and have to defer and acquiesce EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
I could give you DOZENS of examples.
I do not think Mike Slive is concerned.
I think Bama is Chesire cat ECSTATIC with the status quo.

Here is the kind of shite that "happens" to LSU regularly:

quote:

The SEC protected championship-game loser Georgia by convincing the Capital One Bowl to take the Bulldogs; allowed the Cotton Bowl to choose Texas A&M over LSU; and discouraged the Outback Bowl from taking LSU (for a first-ever game with Michigan) to avoid a Chick-fil-A Bowl rematch between South Carolina and Clemson. Had the SEC urged the Cotton to take LSU over A&M — the Tigers beat the Aggies and are higher ranked — and sent A&M to the Chick-fil-A, it would have been a more equitable arrangement.

Instead, LSU is left to make its fifth trip to the Chick-fil-A since 1996

The SEC didn't ask Cotton to take Ags. We were their #1 choice. We were also the Cap Ones #1 choice.

We were the hottest team with the Heisman winner. It's about money.

Now the SEC protected the East Champ. It placed UGA in Cap One over A&M. LSUs gripe is it wasnt protected when it was the SECCG loser. But two wrongs won't make that right.

The team that should've been bitching is A&M. Instead we gladly kicked OUs arse while LSU embarrassed the conference

It's certainly a debate that will go in circles, but the current "2 year plan" is atrocious.

Every single TIE involving bowls or scheduling that involves SEC influence is resolved to LSU's detriment. Permanent schedules, bowl games, bridge schedules, you name it. Every single year for TWO DECADES and counting we have had this discussion in Baton Rouge.

It's easy to ridicule anybody with a complaint, I get that.
Especially if YOU are the beneficiary of the aforementioned SEC influence.
It's easy to just dismiss the clear conflict of interest that exists with Womack and make a joke.
But YOU ASKED BamaMd-so I told you.

Big difference in time in the conference. aTm's first year and LSU one of the founding members. aTm needs to earn some clout.

The only team allowed to bitch about schedules this year is Arkansas. Anyone else is just being a pansy.

No, you're inferring based upon your incompetent reading comprehension and ignorant suppositions. Within the season, the order in which the teams play one another can be modified. Which is exactly what we asked for when it was released.

quote:

and doesn't even follow a pattern year to year

With only 2 seasons, it's not possible to establish a pattern.

Finally on to your Slive comments. So you think Mike Slive-the commissioner of the SEC-said to himself, "Ahhh this is a no win situation, and I don't feel like dealing with a bunch of scrutiny. So screw it; Mark can make the schedule."

Holy shite. I guess you forgot that the SEC HOME OFFICE made rule against the # of bye weeks just because Bama bitched. That's not disproving the notion that the home office caters to Bama. It's confirming it.

Mark Womack of The SEC office devised the schedule. example---"Mark Womack, the SEC’s executive associate commissioner who oversees football scheduling, said work would resume Monday in hopes of announcing a schedule this summer." Mark Womack is a Tuscaloosa native, Tuscaloosa High School graduate and Alabama graduate. He is a former Alabama athletic Department employee. LSU plays SEC East teams that went a combined 14-2 in conference play last season. Alabama, faces teams that combined to go 1-15.

+1.
Also. UGA was supposed to roll onto Bama's schedule and they get taken off for Kentucky. Also, in 2012-13 season , BAMA GOT 4 HOME GAMES IN CONF PLAY while the rest of the west got 3.

How embarrassing is it that a team that lost to Clemson , curb stomped A&M @A&M. It wasn't some early season loss. This was late Oct. and LSU threw the ball for 98 yards.

Since 2000, LSU has played SEC East Division heavyweights Florida and Georgia 17 times. Alabama has played them eight times – the lowest of any West Division team.
