which we know usc and texas will be back and that baylor and TCU will eventually fall back to their place in the pecking order.

I think ND is bordering being the next Nebraska to fall off the map.

no you missed the entire point of the post. a school in fertile recruiting grounds is much more likely to always be able to rebound.

sure some schools will rise and some will fall but LSU isn't likely to be one of those falling off a cliff to never return, unless we see a massive population shift and we lose all the high school talent that we have in the state.

The good news for LSU is that people born in la are far more likely to stay in the state. So it doesn't look like we will have big population shift anytime soon.

LSU could very easily go through another early or late 90s phase, hell I even expect it at some point. however, much like bama did we eventually get the right coach and we bounce back. we stay a while and then it wains, however the huskers are gone for good due to demographics

if i grew up in LA i'd want to go off to a Clemson or Chapel Hill or UVA, etc, if i was a top talent, get a change of scenery, LA is a vanilla scenery state no offense lol

ACC should be the top conferene b/c we got the best college towns with good weather overall.

well y'all have a better oc than we had, mainly because our coach hired and refused to fire his friend. Les isn't the first one to fall in the trap of hiring his buddy and not wanting to fire him.

yea i don't know why I'm arguing with a clemson fan.

I spent most of the day rapping to the firing of miles and Cam.

keyshaun johnson's boy acommitted to nebraska. he was being recruited by unis all over the country, including clemson.

nebraska is 3-0 or 4-0. nebraska had a rough spell but they have been above average in recent years. ND has started off bad but they haven't been horrible the past few years.

in my opinion Clemson is easier place to recruit top talent to, because it is like a resort, plus closer to the northeast.

What in the complete dogshit are you talking about lol?

You think players go to schools because of the mountains? And the south has way more talent than the northeast. You're delusional

clemson gets players all the time who could have gone elsewhere but they like the lake and mountains and the vibe.

there aren't really any comeptitive programs up north right now but there are good players up there and clemson can get them easier than a LSU can. CU has no problem recruiting georgia and florida and NC, and starting to do well in TN.

let's face it it, it is hard to sell baton rouge, which at best is everywhere usa. lol and les miles couldnt sell candy to a baby, he is low energy and aloof.

i must say, firing coaches during a season, especially early in the season, makes me sick. didn't like it when CU did it to Tommy Bowden. LSU still has a shot of winning the SEC. i think staffing decisions should be based on a season, not a single game or two.

if clemson's offense struggled at auburn, not sure why LSU would think their qb was going to dominate down there lol this confirms my long held belief that LSU is controlled by some emotional good ol boys who knee jerk react their way thru life

Is that why LSU out recruits clemson pretty much every year?

I'm done with you...

lol how many cali kids want to play at lsu

i cud seem them going to one of the florida schools, maybe texas, maybe rocky top, not lsu

i will always remember les miles being carried off by his players last season and then somehow avoiding being fired then, only to be fired 4 games into the next season. lol who wouldn't want to coach this program. lol
