Last year it seemed Ware dropped off. I was most impressed with Hilliard. Which one will shoulder the load this year? Surely one has to be better than the rest.

In my opinion it's between Hilliard and Ford. Ware's fat assedness and lack of vision started to piss me off when he got touches late in the season. Watch out for Jeremy Hill who is built like Hilliard but has a little more burst.

Michael Ford has the most physical talent when talking about power/speed.

Blue is probably second in that regard. Hilliard is good between the tackles but he isn't going to beat many guys to the corner or make many guys miss. Spencer Ware doesn't impress me at all, he gets the handoff and immediately puts his head down and hopes for the best, against alabama anyways.

I'd be ecstatic if ware got the bulk of the carries on 11/3

Ford, the rest are average, and none are all sec caliber. No idea why Less starts ware over ford. Ware is slow, has no moves and according to the rant Ford is TRich strong, but much like Mettsiah, I'm sure he has a goo reason for not starting his best players.

Hilliard - best combination of power and speed
Ford - quickest RB on the team, absolute playmaker, liability in pass protection.
Ware - Solid at picking up short to medium yards. Seemed to do better in the 2nd half of games after Hilliard and Ford wore the defense out.
Blue - Excellent 3rd down back, hits the hole very quickly.
Hill and Magee - haven't played, but Hill is very highly recruited and should see immediate playing time.

Each of these backs were very impressive at some point last year...Overall, I'd say Hilliard is the best, If Ford was better at picking up blitzes and protecting the QB, he might be number 1 - that's a big reason why Ford didn't play much more. He doesn't block well.

I acutally think power is Ford's weakness.

Does Les have the same inexplicable affection for Ware that he did JJ?

More seriously, do y'all really expect to do a lot more solid passing this year?

Ford wasn't physical enough when he first got here. Miles stated he didnt finish runs well.

that's pretty much what every LSU RB did vs bama this year, expect Ford. Only reason Ford didnt, is because all he does is bounce it outside on an option play probably close to 80% of the time.

From what I have seen, Hilliard is just a straight-up down hill runner. Is there any footage of him doing anything other than that?
