No we would have probably hired Richt, although i don't think he would have survived the mid-late 00's in BR like he did in Athens.

Yes I'm sure If Saban has taken the Browns job, then decided to bail and go to Auburn 2 years later the alabama fan base would be TOTALLY fine with it

I would be, be considering you basically compared the LSU fan's hate (and jealousy) of Bama to how Bama hates Auburn, goes to show we're in your heads.

Miles coached more than 30 players recruited and signed by Saban to the 2007 BCS title as the Tigers defeated Ohio State in the Superdome.

and Miles had more recruits that played on both sides of the ball during the NCG.

And Saban wanted it played in private for the team. How is that LSU refusing to play it?

Nice troll post. Saban asked that the video be private and only for the team, but you know that.

Yeah that would have been awesome. I can't continue arguing such a foolish argument.

You're right. His long tenure in the NFL was plenty of time.

Did you even read it?

Saban said the video didn't need to be shown publicly but he was the head coach of that team. They should have acknowledged his efforts. LSU could have just played a snippet or two of the video on the scoreboard without making a big deal about it.

He actually explicitly said that he wanted it to be private.

LSU is a great program and Saban merely stoked the fire, so to speak. Miles came along and chopped some wood and continues to through more wood in the fire.

Georgia was a better program than LSU when he took over, and he still has never been able to win a title. I'm sure you'd be willing to trade that 03 title away though huh?

What's amazing is that he has 4 National Championships in this 10 span, and he didn't even coach in college for 2 of those years. He's won National Championships in half the season's he's coached since 2003.

For all we know he would have won 3 NCs at LSU with the different recruits he would have brought to LSU vs UGA. What we can say pretty confidently though is that we would not have been "mediocre". Other than the 90's LSU has been a very good program for almost 100 years at this point.

I'd definitely appreciate and respect the titles he brought Bama. It's like how most of our fan base shits on Pruitt now that he's gone, but I still love him.
