Are we making excuses for penalties now? Go ahead and play that game with LSU.

That field goal is just for reps if not for unforced errors on LSU that game. But go ahead spin your narrative.

Remember we had 2 touchdowns called back against state. So the game should have been out of hand in the second half..... dumb dumb penalties

I'm not saying that y'all should have won, just wanted to make the point that holding someone to a FG that would win the game as time expires isn't exactly stopping someone.

That's exactly what stopping someone is. They had to kick a FG on 4th down

Wtf do you consider stopping someone if forcing them to take a 50+ yard FG, that they miss, isn't stopping them?

They lost. LSU won. LSU stopped them.

Bama has not been scored upon in the 11th minute of the second quarter, nor in the 6th minute of the fourth quarter. Pretty sure that leads the country, as well.

That's what I said in my last post, didn't remember it being a 55 yarder

Yea it's not like LSU didn't have a TD called back on a penalty that was outside of the throw and catch.

They are so upset that LSU isn't declining as they incline, like they hoped. It's fun

0 pts 1st quarter
6 pts 2nd quarter
24 pts 3rd quarter
36 pts 4th quarter

Not a good trend right there and that has to improve along with the penalties.

1st quarter? Hell we've only given up like 17 points cumulatively all season in quarters 1-3 of every game so far this year. It's the 4th quarter we need to work on......

I'll admit to the MSU game 4th quarter woes. But the other 2 wins, you had to watch the game to see how things went.

And I'll take it vs MSU, for the reasons brag listed.

I'm not sure what LSU's D is yet. We appear to get MUCH better pressure on the D-line in the 1st half of the game, but the pressure fades late in the game. So depth is a little bit of an issue there.

The middle of the field looks soft (though Beckwith is a stud and is always around when it counts).

The secondary is filled with guys who can all be complete studs, but some of them are not experienced yet. We seem pretty good, but need work on completing games. The weakness seems to be short, quick passes. That's how I would attack them. Once the secondary gets more game experience though, that will be a tough group to beat.

It was a 51 yarder, not just any "missed FG"

Didn't look lights out against Syracuse's 5th string QB.

shite, I'm talking about the game, son. I'm talking about what this board is here for, and I didn't start a thread over it.

I can't wait to see LSU get revenge.

Feel free to go handpick stats that are clearly geared towards LSU fans and mask it as "football discussion ".

LSU's D has never failed to stop aTm. Even when you had Johnny Football.

Sarge its only trolling if you start a thread. Apparently anything you post within a thread isnt trolling.
