Does Shepard consider himself one of these athletes that Auburn doesn't have? Yeah he was the number 1/2 recruit in the country on several recruiting sites, but I don't think he's had the career to justify it.

All against worthy competition for the most part.

Yea, him and Emory are both Juniors, yet Emory had better sophomore stats than Shepard has career stats. Dude has been a bust so far in his career.

WR/DBs are hard to predict really though. I think a lot of times you can look at who they played in high school. For whatever reason though, they just never seem to progress once they get to the collegiate level.
