quote:
Shepard praised Auburn, the defending BCS champions, and singled out offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and defensive coordinator Ted Roof.
“That’s a very competitive team,” Shepard said. “They’ve got great athletes, they have a great scheme on both sides of the ball.
“They don’t tend to have the athletes that we have here at LSU, but their coordinators do a great job of putting their players in a position to be successful.”

While not entirely untrue, if Fairley were still at AU they would have to dig a few people out of the turf with a shovel if he heard that.

Dude has that backwards, if Roof had the D in position to be successful they wouldn't suck so bad. Auburn has the same type of athletes as LSU.

Was true in the past.

Bulletin board material. This game could get ugly for LSU. The jokes about losing by 20+ could become a reality.

I know this was a quote in an article and not twitter, facebook, etc...but damn I just wish our players would shut up sometimes.

Lemon-head might come through, take off Jarrett Lee's head, and then flex afterwards. That dude is an animal. Our defensive line would be scary if we still had Fairley. I, for one, would not like to be a QB in that situation.

Why can't the Aubies accept any complement? Are there positions on your team that could improve this year? You barely beat Utah friggin St. Come on people!

How much of lemonhead's production came against the weaker competition?
