This looks like progress. Sure it took until after the game had ended, but finally a LSU defender knocked an opponent to the ground. Maybe LSU can build on this and take this momentum into their next game. Maybe even try it during the actual game.

Seriously though, kid got what he deserved. Too much emotion running through players after a loss like that for drunk kids to be swarming all around talking shite.
I was surprised a fight didn't break out in the endzone when LSU couldn't get their injured player off the field before the jackasses swarmed in.

Rushing the field is a part of college football, and I love it. It's the passion and joy of the fans. I have no problem with it.
I can't believe there's a large percentage of people who think that everyone who runs onto the field deserves to be assaulted by these spoiled athletes. Wtf is wrong with you people? Seriously

The field of play is for the fans. These players and coaches must do a better job of getting off the field so the fans can carry on their traditions. Nothing bad has ever happened from friendly, exuberant, fun-loving fans running onto the field. Taunting and threatening opposing players and staff. Stealing equipment. Climbing the goalposts. Tearing them down and taking them. Taking pieces of the turf or the shrubbery. It is tradition. Harmless tradition. The field is for the fans. It is the player’s fault for being there.
