NOBODY HERE argued we "destroyed" Bama. However, many Gumps and idiots in the national media argue that Bama outplayed us and strongly imply Bama is better than LSU based on that game. It is ludicrous and unsupportable. 9-6.

As a starter he's beat us twice??
Lulz, He should thank his defense and special teams cause he just put up by far the worst performance in SEC championship game history by a QB,he had a whopping 25 yards of total offense..

The joke is on you if that QB who threw a whopping 25 yards beats you again!

Are you really? That 1958 championship doesn't really do anything for me. I really don't care how many we have before I have been around. If anything, it has been great to see the program grow since I was a little kid, when they were terrible.

Man how good is LSU if Jefferson puts up the worst performance in SEC Championship game history, and wins 42-10.

Hahaha, Something says that has not entered into the calculus of the gumps. He played with 1/2 a game plan and beat them on Nov 5th. I guess they forgot about 2010, yes, JJ was the starter.

Funny coming from a fan of a team with ONE OFFENSIVE WEAPON. ONE.None of your skill players would even be second string at LSU.

Memphis each team had one "drive" that lead to a field goal. LSU's drive was aided by a busted assignment on Shephard's 38 yard pass reception to the ALA 8 yard line just before the half.

LSU's other FG was the result of Claiborne's interception return to the ALA 15 yard line. (Great play Mo!)

Both team's offenses struggled to move the ball. LSU executed much more effectively in the OT period, giving the Tigers the win. Bama Shite the bed in OT. LSU 13-0. Bama 11-1. They meet again in NOLA.

I just don't see any significant improvement by the LSU offense. The responses I received to my OP have been less than illuminating.

Why would we go into melt down. We will probably win back to back SEC TITLES I'd take two titles over a BCS Championship everytime. The BCS is always disputed in who shouldve been in the game.In the rest of the country's eyes Bama was GIVEN a place in the BCS CG. Even if Bama wins you'll have a worse record than us won't have the sec west or sec championship. What will be the talk once Miles beats Saban 3 times in 2 years. Also you know Bama isn't gonna win in DV next year so it will be about 1000 days till THE SAVIOR Has beaten THE IDIOT.
