Did you watch us before Mett. Like 1/9, couldn't run the ball. Still don't pass. Just keep beating our head against the wall.
Pretty funny you mention a passing TD against UK. Thats freaking UK. How does that change what we will do against a real team.

I believe they threw the ball in both those games

15 total attempts in the UK game. 7 completions.

the passing game is trash. LSU is going to run right at ole miss. i'm not saying it will work. i'm just telling you what they will do.

miles has been doing it since 2009 with the exception of 2013

it's what he thinks will be successful. guess we'll see.

We are the ones with gamechangers in the trenches, not LSU. We are the team with playmakers all over the field this year, not LSU.

And we are still hungry.

You act as if TJ Yeldon and Derrick Henry are scrubs. Just seriously blind as frick.

Maybe you just have a lack of comprehending what you read.

Let me take it slower... Bama rushed for 160 yards against you.. at your field. That's having success on the ground. They did it without one of their stars who went down to an injury mid way through the game.

LSUhas quality RBs... one of which is was ranked #1 coming out of HS.

Yeldon has 566 yards this season.. LF has 544.

What's happening is you are acting like LF and LSU's backs are scrubs. They are far from it.

So you saw us throw the ball successfully a couple times. Hell I'm sure I can go back to 2011 and find a couple plays where Ole Miss actually looked like a decent team. That wouldn't make it true though.
Go rewatch 1/9. That will prove exactly what we are talking about.

The OLine are scrubs compared to the Ole Miss Dline.

LSU does have one stud RB though. Too bad he'll be fighting the Ole Miss Dline for the handoff.

A kid can only do so much on his own....

LSU has a better running game than ole miss.
Ole miss has a better passing game.

LSU struggles against the run, but is good against the pass. #1 in the SEC.

They are like Pocket Hercules. May run between your legs, but still going to sack the quarterback either way.

yeah, but A&M isn't a run team at all. so idk what your point is.

They still ran the ball a few times between the tackles and got manhandled. Point being, size doesn't matter when the other guy is faster, and sometimes stronger, than you.

That's funny as hell! You know better Henry.

TAMU threw and throws it a ton more than running it. The OL is designed and recruited for that purpose. Much like Gus is not recruiting a Pro style QB. He's going dual threat.

Fournette

vs. Mississippi State: 7 carries, 38 yards
vs. Auburn: 10 carries, 42 yards

That's 17 carries for 80 yards against the best two teams LSU has faced.

Yeldon

vs. West Virginia: 23 carries for 126 yards
at Ole Miss: 20 carries for 123 yards

That's 43 carries for 249 yards against the best two teams Alabama has faced

Henry

vs. West Virginia: 17 carries for 113 yards
at Ole Miss: 17 carries for 37 yards

That's 34 carries for 150 yards against the best two teams Alabama has faced.

the O-line is the strength of this LSU 2014 squad. they were ranked as the top o-line in the SEC before the season started by lots of outlets. they underperformed in the first few games, but they have seemingly gelled recently.

LSU is going to run the ball 50 times against ole miss. get ready for it.

They won't break 150yds rushing. They can run it 50 times all they want but it will not help them.

They will not reach Bamas rushing totals. We are better now than we were then and Bama is just better than LSU this year.

Who said LSU doesn't pass the ball? they just don't pass it well. they avg 22 passes a game and only passed it 15 times total against UK
