LSU no doubt is better, but I fear State getting a quick 14 point lead (due to this being LSU's first game)and getting lucky in the second half and able to barely hold
let the excuses commence. Keep thinking that same team from last night will show up. We fumbled in the endzone when about to go up 7-0, then next poss, muffed a punt, they recovered at our own 10. Our Dline looked good, we played a simple cover 2 and never showed a different look, leaving the seam wide open, several times. Dak was a little rusty as was Ross dropping a couple of wide open passes. State 34-23.

LSU should win big. MSU looked like one of the worst teams in the SEC just like most people besides state fans thought.
I sure wish we could play those shitty gators.

Something more like 24-14 but yeah I believe LSUs cupcake game being cancelled may end up really making an impact. Especially in the first half

Worried as hell about this game. Not liking the idea of having to work out the kinks in StarkVegas. This is gonna be a close one, but I've got LSU pulling it out with a very late FG -- 33-31. What say you?

You also said to book it that ASU would beat A&M by 3 TDs. With that record, I will go opposite you and say State by 14.

State did not look great but it is the first game so its hard to tell. They did not try to utilize Dak like they will with LSU. I expect Dak to run it up the gut a lot.

Should be a fun game to watch but I expect LSU to win.

I expect LSU to win this game, but not by much. The cancellation hurts them in not being able to get a little in-game experience and film to correct mistakes in practice. The margin of victory would be wider had it actually played out. State just looked a little lost, and I'm sure that's mostly due to all the players replaced. They got a game of experience under their belt and will be better for it, but it's just one game. This game later in the year would be closer to a toss up.

LSU 24-20

LSU loses by a field goal at the end. buga gets a severe groin pull. Out 4-6 weeks.

Agree, but LSU will expect Dak runs too and, I think, they will be able stop it. Just not enough talent on the o-line, and their defense is just not very good. Most of the talk has been whether State lost tons of starters and experience or whether it was 1A and 1B situation so they still have experience -- the problem is that either way the pass defense they had last year was simply not very good and there is certainly no reason to think it would get better this year even if there fielding 1B's. Additionally, for any of us who had our doubts about the Bulldog's pass defense, last night only made me feel more certain about that team weakness. LSU by 10 points despite not having a warm-up game.

No clue. MSU didn't look at all impressive yesterday, but who the hell knows how LSU is going to do as they break in a new DC. Am I remembering right that it was Harris on the field for the brief time they were out there? If so, breaking in a new QB too. If I had to bet, I'd go LSU because superior talent is superior talent.

I just want to point out that unlike last year, Beckwith will be the starting MLB... Dak will be scared of running up the middle after thefirst attempt.

Miss St looked like shite against a shite school. Souhtern Miss is not on the way back up.

LSU slow in the first half getting the timing down, Blow out second half. 45-17 LSU

Game will be reminiscent of the 2007 beat down in Starkville.

LSU picks off Dak six times on their way to a 45-0 beat down.

After seeing what State trotted out on the field yesterday the Tigers shouldn't have anything to worry about. Dak will be having Panama City Beach flashbacks by 2nd quarter.
