Louisiana has mosquitos that are so ridiculously terrible that they can bite your arse through a polytarp. Not even joking.

Just the worst. An absolute shithole that is barely fit for human habitability.

Ed, please don't spread your infectious skin disease to the great state of Louisiana. Keep that shite in Arky where it belongs

That time I was actually using a bit of hyperbole.
It was poison oak. Bad enough that it required an emergency room visit.

Just the worst.
The worst experience I have EVER had in any state. And I have been through a number of them.

and i take it you live in arkansas? outside of fayetteville, arkansas is a complete shithole as well. most of the south is kind of shitty outside isolated pockets. anyone saying one is worse than the other is naive

I've always found stuff like this a bit amusing.
So because you've lived your life in a veritable hell-hole, you're a real man?

I guess it depends on how you look at things. I would say a SMART man wouldn't fu(kin' live there, but that's just me.

Ed, I find it difficult to give a man sympathy if he was dumb enough to roll around in poison oak.

Please, tell us more of your terrible travels to the hell-hole you call describe Louisiana as...

Like I said, there wasn't much choice in the matter.
It was JRTC training with the US Army. I didn't really get a say in where we trained. And where we LAID for three goddamn days.

That decision fell on our yankee arse First Sergeant. Tough guy went to the hospital too. He was ate up by chiggers so bad it literally made him ill. Kinda funny actually, he had chigger bites on his eyelids.
