True freshman vs experienced sophomore. Harris is now mature and developed. But ya know... Let's just keep being retarded

I guess you've been watching LSU's fall practices to know that? What else can you tell me about LSU's team?
You sound like me talking about Khiel Frazier right before the 2012 season started. It's called wishful thinking. What you meant to say is you hope that Harris is now mature and developed. Since LSU opens up with McNeese, it'll be a couple more weeks before we find out for sure

State beating them week 2

Lol
Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee combined for a 3-1 record vs Auburn
If Brandon Harris can reach that lofty goal we shouldn't lose for another 3 years.

Interesting. What HC was at AU in that timeframe?
Posted on 8/31/15 at 1:18 am to BowlJackson
wasn't Gus although he was the offensive mastermind behind a couple of 10 point performances as an OC.
in 5 games vs LSU as a HC and OC gus is 2-3
he has broken 25 points 1 time.
I am sure the guy who sat behind Nick Marshall is a superstar.
Plenty of great QBs sit behind CBs

We won, that's what... Guess that's better than not crossing the damn 50 yard line the whole game.

Yall were 5-0 before playing LSU and then you went 3-5 after. You sure it's not the other way around? Seems like yall let off the gas after your monumental victory.

Read this whole thread...this is an awesome AU vs LSU scrap
LSU will be better and B Harris will definitely be better. There was a reason he was so highly touted and AU fought hard to get him. He was thrown to the wolves last year as a true freshman. Most true freshmen don't work out too well at his position. Do I think he will be ALL-SEC? No. But if he isn't a liability, the other offensive tools will make LSU very dangerous and much improved. On the flip side, losing Chief as DC will definitely hurt. For that reason alone, I'm not as bullish on LSU as the ESPN crew. They will be a tough out for everyone though

I have no idea how the LSU QB situation will pan out, but didn't Florida wait on Driskell and Brantley saying the same thing? Just because someone has a year under their belt doesn't necessarily mean you will see improvement.

I tend to agree. As for Auburn, I think getting Muschamp and getting Lawson back is going to help Auburn's defense a lot....but I also believe that Muschamp will put some pressure on Gus to slow down the Offense at least a little. It will be interesting to watch how both teams play out this year.

No LSU isnt winning the the west. I know about Corso and Herbie but Herbie picked USC to win the national title in '12 and I think they went 7-5 or 6-6 and last year he had UCLA winning it all. If I recall in '13 I believe he had the Sooners picked to win it all or very high soo...
He's a knowledgable football guy who actually played but his picks have been off the mark to say the least.

Corso has been on point last couple years. Obviously they are seeing the same thing we are seeing. Brandon Harris has looked very confident and comfortable this offseason and much more poised than Jennings has ever looked. All we need is a serviceable QB and we roll. I think Harris is going to shock some doubters this year
