That would be pretty dumb considering it was his 1st year starting and he's a sophomore and the only replacements we have are not experience and Anthony Jennings.
Harris will be just fine.

When's the last time an LSU RB had major success running the ball against Bama?

Or maybe he's talking about 2010 (11-2)

My favorite part of 2010 was when Ryan Mallet took a knee on LSU's 1 yard line to win the game.

But I think my personal favorite LSU game was Arkansas, LSU, 2007. You remember the one. LSU ranked number 1. In Baton Rouge. Triple overtime. Hogs win.

Last year, Hogs win.
Year before, Hogs win.

Can't wait to see how much "arse" LSU beats next season. Haha

Preseason NC race
1) Tennessee
2) Arkansas
3) LSU

You are way behind LSU but it's a long off season so no need to panic.

I hear championship talk every year from Arkansas fans. Same thing every year, beat the first two or three cupcakes senseless and y'all swear this is the best team in the nation. Face your first "test" with a mediocre OOC team and get beat, then comes the "Maybe this will make our boys realize they are not invincible and start playing better..." but you lose 3 or 4 more. Maybe get a win over LSU or another top ranked school towards the end of the season but that don't change your record of 4 to 5 losses. Yea you beat us but we usually end with a better record/ season. Keep the Boot. I'll take ten wins.

That's a pretty hilarious/true analysis. Beat A&M and everyone is back on the bandwagon, calling for Alabama's head.

LSU fans need to learn to taper their expectations. Texas fans have quickly learned this. That way, they'll be able to enjoy the season more. I set the bar for UT football right around 4...maybe 5 years if I'm in a great mood that day. Sadly, my expectations have been dead on.

As for now, LSU has done absolutely nothing to say they'll "beat some arse".

Take a look back at last year...

-You barely squeaked out a win against Mississippi State. In fact, the Bulldog kicker had a crack at it to win the game. Granted, a borderline futile shot, but it was still an opportunity none the less.

-You beat a Florida team that just received devastating news about their starting QB and was having to break in their backup quarterback.

-The Alabama game happened...
-The Arkansas game then happened...
-The Ole Miss game then really happened....

Same story every year. Signing day they have the best team EVER and no one will stop them. Spring game their QB will look amazing and the west needs to be trembling with fear. Season starts, they play a close game for 3 quarters against a scrub and the light melting commences. Lose to Bama and they Miles time has come and gone, lose to Arkansas and they've all jumped ship, beat aTm and they've come full circle again.

and every year, arkansas talks about how tFlagship is going to wreck shop, only to start off 2-2, yet again.

so i guess the question is, do you prefer your season to be over in week 4? Or would you prefer to have a little hope through week 8?

Crap. I had to check the date on this thread. I thought somebody had bumped it from last year. Or the year before that. Or the year before that.

Ummm...even if we pull in the #1 recruiting class, that will be ONE, against the THREE they will have on their team. Rein it in a bit.

Actually they have five in a row. Time for that to stop, though.
