Win 2 games in the SEC tourney and we have a 4 locked up. No worse than a 5 even if we lose the first or second game

Not bad considering our last month

We comin

I don't think seeding particularly matters in the NIT, but it's great you're getting excited about your postseason.

You guys are a 7 seed. The selection committee doesn't care about conference tournaments unless a team that wasn't in the field wins obviously. How'd last year's 8 seed go? You guys were on here claiming a 5 seed after making it to the $EC championship game.

The selection peeps already came out and said the NET won't play a factor in seeding, they realize it's flawed and easily gamed.

Looks like a 7 or 8 seed. Low probability for a 4 seed.

It was an interview on ESPN yesterday right after the Purdue/Indiana game I believe.

LSU is tied for eighth in the SEC without a signature OOC win. I have trouble seeing a 4 seed for some reason. But hopes springs eternal…

I don’t think LSU is getting a 4 seed, MAYBE a 5 if we make a deep run in the conference tourney. Like 125 out of 128 bracket matrix sites have us at a 6 or 7. That seems about right.

I think a 5 is doable if they win the tournament. That's beating Arkansas, and 2 probably 2 of Auburn, Tennessee, and Kentucky. That's a hell of a 4 day schedule.

I think right now we are a 6, win two we move up to a 5, if we win the whole tournament we are a 4

The committee doesn’t care about the conference tournament. I don’t remember who LSU all beat last year, but they won 3 games in the SECt and made the final, as well as had a win over Arkansas who was highly ranked and it didn’t change anything.

Why would a middle of the road SEC team get a 4 seed?

The conference tourney usually only allows you to move up 3-4 spots by winning. Losing in the tourney doesn't move you down as much...maybe 1-2 spots

Spots not seeds.

Win the tourney and if you are the last 6 seed you can move to the 1st 6 seed. If you are the first 6 seed you can move to a middle 5 seed.
