In any event, it's silly to pretend you don't care (the collective 'you') because the rest of the Rant has had a field day goading y'all into replying to their trolls on the issue. It's getting quite old, frankly, so I wish one or the other of you would just let it go until the end of football season.

Edit: meant to note that it could have a real-world repercussion if a coach is weighing whether or not to make a lateral move. Lots of coaches would love the LSU job, but the ones that would be wanted by LSU are mostly already set in very good situations, so every little bit helps or hurts, depending. I'm not trolling y'all. It's a valid point.

I agree, this board is damn near unreadable right now.

People need to get over it. It's happening, and LSU will be the better for it.

Well then the rest of the country will have no problem firing their head coaches since such a great one is back on the market. I know a couple of SEC teams that could use a coach like Miles.
