He's being congratulated on twitter for screwing LSU over ... hope he sees the bench and gets processed. I wish him no harm but dude ... LSU contacted him in December something about making sure he was good to go to enroll paperwork wise ... isn't htat reasonable?

Now, to what everyone is not addressing. In our compliance department is a couple folks who really, genuinely, hate the football program. I'm not going to name names here because I know them personally, and as people, they are OK. But any chance they get to kick the football team in the balls, they will. This was self reported, as were the recommendations made for penalties.

Yeah................and that's what LSU is getting penalized for. One phone call to check on him and make sure he was good to enroll in January.

Anyone saying Bama had anything to do with this needs to take a deep breath and realize how ridiculous they sound. However, I'm not sure I believe that anyone in LSU's compliance department wants to intentionally hurt the football program. That seems counterproductive.

LSU will win the appeal if Joe Alleva has the balls, which has yet to be proven. It might cost a few dollars but this rule is stupid as frick. Everybody violates some
rule or another every year, LSU Compliance department reports everything as it should but they should have at least let the Athletic Department explain it first and given a chance to dispute the so called violations. Kids dad is a moron and in no way can testify to LSU's frame of mind when the papers were signed

I'm not happy about that either, but that had nothing to do with Bama either.
LSU does seem to be getting fricked by the SEC quite often lately, though.
