The kid himself is currently retweeting comments basically gloating that he did this.

So now it's false that a violation was made by LSU?

No, idiot. It's false that LSU committed a violation for "enrolling early enrollees," which is what you keep claiming. It's literally the opposite of that.

This is whats absurd about the rule. Everything LSU did was within the rules until Womack elected not to EE, only then did it become a violation.

What is dumb is that the extra contact was for the purpose of helping the kid select classes and enroll. You know.... the type of stuff you might want to get done before the semester starts.

They still will not admit a violation was made. Just deflecting constantly. This is gold.

Yeah, I don't think the issue is denial. They are all saying the rule is stupid as frick, which it is. LSU should get zero punishment for this.

Why are you deflecting and bringing up irrelevant information, bro?

And the ONLY REASON he was even contacted In December was to set up his early enrollment and talk about academics.

I guess you are trolling LSU Fans, look at Auburn's record of Major infractions. Wanted to call you a dumb arse but decided not to. I do have quite a few classy Auburn friends.

Haven't read the article but it initially appears to me like the kid they recruited kinda fricked over LSU's staff by not signing.

Amarite? Educate me?

Basically. He signed financial aid papers for EE, then decided not to early enroll, then committed to Alabama.

LSU self reported, because Kiffin damn sure would have reported us.

Everyone except the trolls are admitting this is a stupid rule and LSU wasn't being underhanded at all. Even Finebaum blasted the rule.

It is a bad rule period. Set up to cause failure on one of the SEC institutions. THe SEC needs to tell the NCAA to jump off a huge, tall bridge with no water below to soften the blow and go it alone. Others would follow.

Be the leader...

BUt the responses in this thread are priceless!

LSU could argue that it and this punk entered a contractual relationship.

Offer, acceptance, and consideration.

Acceptance -- proven by the kid executing FF papers.

LSU would have the right to enforce the relationship as if the kid had signed a LOI. Force his shitty little punk arse to sit out a year and burn his red shirt.

He can go to bama and do whatever. That's his decision and good luck to him.

LSU should not be penalized for this. That's the issue.
