Won't complain too much, if we beat a&m we get he 8 seed so we blew that. That being said, a case could have easily been made that we deserve it over lsu. Such as a better record and winning head to head. Lsu was hot to end the season so I'm sure that made the decision. Hopefully a national seed loses and we get to host a super regional.

Location, record vs. top 25, stretch finish, and unfortunately for OM our reputation did it for us.

I think going 14-2 in May played more of a factor than being lsu. Not saying the reputation doesn't help, but it was the winning streak that did it. all that other stuff you mentioned doesn't compare to who wins when the two teams actually play each other.

It's funny how head to head rarely matters unless it's very late in the season.
It's like they always say, "just don't get swept."

It's not like Louisiana is well liked. It home to the trashiest city in the world, the locals speak a language nobody understands and well.... Corndogs

Would have mattered if the series had been at LSU. Winning 2-of-3 at home has little importance in the grand scheme.

The committee clearly loved Florida, so it looks like winning 3 games against them in the last two weeks was huge.

You need to try harder. 28.7 million people visited Louisiana in 2014, spending $11.6 billion. In 2013, New Orleans drew 9.28 million visitors, who spent $6.47 billion.
Not too bad for a place nobody likes. Not surprisingly, Mississippi is one the top markets supplying overnight stays in New Orleans.
