Neither UF officials nor fans don't seem to think it's too serious. Gainesville won't be touched at all. Why would a joke about Gainesville be considered insensitive?

If Florida is willing to guarantee that LSU and Florida happens either Saturday or Sunday at Ben Hill Griffin, then I ain't even mad. If it has to be canceled due to conditions from the storm though, I am going to be beyond pissed.

Florida should have been forced to accept a forfeiture under conditions the game cannot be played in Florida this weekend given that they REFUSED to move it to a location where it was guaranteed to be played.

I've never seen a fan base so whiny all the time. It's amazing.

That's what I've been wondering reading UF posts today. This seems to be a joke to some of you. Why the double standard?

Some of our fans sure are crying a lot about it.

There were places in Baton Rouge under several feet of water recently and Gainesville is closer to the coast lines than BR.

So exactly what is dumber than "dumber than dirt" Gump?

OK, I think you are one of the sane ones.

You must realize that none of the fans on this board have any influence on this matter, right?

OK, now that we agree on that part, why not have some fun with our LSU friends?

Not too mention all the donations from louisiana to sc.

I know lots of people are still hurting from our own disaster. But people still give. I guess florida doesnt want any handouts.

If you have to laugh off a major storm in order to have fun, it kind of makes you look stupid.

But do whatever helps you get through day.

I was wrong. You aren't the sane LSU fan I was thinking of.

Hurricane parties not a thing in LA any longer?

Like I said, whatever works for you. I truly hope it's just a big party for everyone in your state.

Sanity looks insane on this board, fwiw.

If we play the game, fine.

We didn't come close to filling our own stadium when we had USCe over here last year. We didn't raise near as much as we should have, and it's a fricking shame.

We moved a game to frickin Monday night to avoid swapping to Knoxville in '05

All of a sudden, the word "kids" is getting thrown around when referencing our football players, but when we want to trash our own players for sideline sulking and a tweet, "they aren't kids, they are old enough to go to war... they're men"

Some LSU fans are acting like whiny bitches, who know everything, right now. With all that said, UF and McElwain are stalling for time in the face of a hurricane tearing through the state, instead of figuring something better out.

Lastly, suck a dick WadeWilson
