My point is that there very likely will be parts of Florida that get a foot of water or more.

Not a UF fan, but I lived in Gainesville for seven years. Some dumbasses think it's in the middle of a river delta like NOLA.

Does not being in a Delta somehow make it impervious to flooding. Unless I'm mistaken, they've had flooding in Gainesville twice in the last 18 months.

If you think there's a chance of a foot of water as far inland as Gainesville, you're dumber than dirt.

Yea that's what they said about Baton Rouge

Took a good 7 seconds to google an article of flooding in Gainesville. Keep in mind, I doubt that was a massive hurricane that caused that a little over a month ago. But BamaBroInTN is a modern day weather nostradamus

They were, literally, the first two links when I searched "Gainesville flooding" just now.

Wait, is a hurricane a big deal? No joking matter? What's the problem here?

Are you staying in Gainesville?

It's not about being mad in the way you think. I have a flight booked for Friday, and it's highly unlikely that traveling into Florida, much less flying into it, will go down without issues.

Welp, that particular flooding wasn't a year ago. I stand corrected.

Plus the 100+ mph sustained winds that will be in one direction for hours. Couple that with tornados. Florida isnt immune here. Its been a while. They must have forgotten thr early 90s when they got 2 a year

So why has switching to the visitor's venue always been an option until now? What's different about USCe last year & Florida this year? Besides brain & testicle size?
