Along with State being the better team they are also way more physical. Auburn is soft as cotton. State wins this one easily.

Auburn win: 60%
Miss. St win: 40%
IMO. Auburn homefield advantage, hungry for a win after being embarrassed 2 games in a row, auburn offense did not look bad in 2nd half. Miss State has a more consistent team but I just have a gut feeling auburn wins this. Basically if they lose this game they crash and burn hard and there was too much expectation at the beginning of the season for that to happen. Auburn by 6

Pretty much sums it up for the Miss St side.
I think it will be closer because it's a road game, but I have Miss St anywhere from a 4 point win to an 11 point win.

I think Auburn matches up pretty good with MSU. I think they can attack on the edge and have success in the running game.

State, but the Hunchback of the Bell Tower always seems to go braindead in this game.
Thing is, Auburn's defense is bad. It couldn't stop the run against LSU, but Jax State showed you can pass the hell out of them, too. Quick slant them to death, among other things.
Then, there's JJ. What a terrible combination. Auburn is behind the 8 ball. Really, really bad team.

State by 10, say 31-21. Should be a reasonably close game. I expect Auburn to play better and they are at home so I don't think State will kill Auburn. However, State is the better, more complete football team right now.
